neohic
Can't be said enough how amazing this truck looks. Any plans for that bent up rock slider?... kinda disrupts the flow...
89eliminator
going to run it how it is for the year. my cab corners are starting to get soft, so plans are to cut out the rocker panels and weld in the new rock sliders. gain some clearance that way as well. comanche12
cab getting soft because of unibody frame? just wondering once again... sweet shots of your mj! I'm plan to come watch brewers game this sunday but the plan dropped :(
89eliminator
no they are getting soft because i didnt do the best job the first time (1st time ever doing bodywork) so mud and debris made its way in there and rotted them out.
MiNi Beast
what size tube is that? seems kinda weak to be bent up like that unless you bend it on a point so to speak. or you try out the hi-lift? :rotfl2:
89eliminator
it was pretty thin to begin with, don't remember the thickness right now. but yeah, i landed hard on a concrete slab that was on an angle. so basically i landed on the corner of the slab. reson46
Looks like you must have had a hell of a drop on the rock slider too. Willy
89eliminator
still no video proof. doesn't count then. I made it up this far... that actually wasnt the hill you were talking about. this one was when you get into the clearing coming into the quarry on the right if that makes any sense (was basically across from where i blew the T-Case) I see two tail lights in the beginning and only one towards the end...... :hmm: Willy good eye... and i bent the rock rail last year... and it has just got progressively worse over the year. my cab corners are rotting so i will just be welding in 2x6" in place of the rockers/cab corners
