replaced the ignition cylinder (from a 95xj since I did the conversion), lucky I had a spare for a 95 column. Been in L.A. for 6 weeks for work and my bro broke the ignition somehow  , so I also got to start it for the first time in almost 2 months....and I think it's angry with me :(

oh, and jumped the battery because he left the dome lights on

back out of town for 3 more days then mounting the second set of 35x12.50r15 dunlop radial mud rovers on my second set of cragar soft 8's (15x8's, 3" BS) and getting them balanced.

nice sig... :rotf:

CW, is that a Harbor Freight special??

GOOD EYE!!! :brows: :D give that man a beer!! Tomorrow I'll get the wiring finished and hopefully get a recording up for all to hear!!

I HATE the "dead spots" in my factory horn!!! :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: Going to run a new horn button.

 jamminz.gif BEEEEER!

Unfortunately though, I think you may be disappointed with the horn. I put one in my grandfathers truck....it doesn't really make a OOOOOGA sound so much as a WAAAAAAA. Like a dying duck inside a tin pail.

It's better than the stock horn for sure...but I was expecting a totally different noise. Let me know how it works out.

It draws allot of juice. If you don't allow it to get enough, it dosen't sound like it should. It says it needs a 30amp fuse. Thats allot of fuse!! I tested this one with some 16Ga test wires and it did like your saying. I clipped my batter charger directly to it for a full 15 amps of power and it sounded like it should!!! jamminz.gifjamminz.gif SO, I'll wire it up with a relay and some 12 Ga wire and hopefully this will be enough.  stay tuned

Yesterday-

Started Axle swap. The kid who had it before me out a 3'' lift with a about 2 inch spacer and th e back was only 3.

TOday

Got new brakes lines(flex lines) and Spring Isolators, got axle all in and tightened up. went to to brakes on and wrong rotors(1 was 2WD the other was 6 lug). No problem went to Advanced Auto and they didnt have them until tomorrow at 7:30 AM so i ordered then and would put the $#!&ty ones on jsut to get it running tonight. go to put pads on…… wrong pad and calipers(for 2WD) so out on my 45 min trip to Napa distrubution center I got all wrong parts. So i ordered them from Advanced Auto. Everything will be in tomorrow at 7:30AM and I will start as soon as i get out there. Also I drained my trans fluid well it all come out when we pulled driveshaft. Looked like a Chocolate Shake so i got that changed today also

All that is left is put on brakes and bleed them.

The other day I got the new obnoxious horn mounted up... I attached it to the inside of the front most frame cross-member. Right behind the bumper, below the radiator. Should be good place for the sound to flow forward...

Tonight I moved the CB Antenna mount to the center of the swing out tire carrier.

I Went to pick up my parts I ordered. Got to my jeep and they were wrong parts so Matt and I spent all morning looking for right parts. Finally I got the rotors and found out calipers were wrong.... I got them from Napa put them on got everything put together. I could not bleed the brakes. Rob got home and the calipers were on wrong so they bleed fluid right away. but it runs needs a alinement tomorrow and I'm all set

Tonight I stopped @ Radio Shack and got my wire and once home, installed the grounding strap.

Once everything was attached I tried it out. Got a responce right away from a guy about 5-6 miles out as the crow flies. MUCH better then it was before!!!

Put it in storage for the winter. :(

It is in too good of shape to drive in the winter in Wisconsin. I don't need it turning into a rust bucket.

:agree: Should have stayed in 'Bama mate.

Someone in 'Bama should have hired me and I would have moved back!!
