On my MJ: Ordered a new master Clutch cylinder and a new clutch line.

On Dad's MJ: Replaced the break rotors and pads, replaced the wheel bearings, re greased everything with a grease fitting, mounted the track bar mount, modified WJ LCAs to fit the MJ, modified the front axle to fit the WJ LCAs, Re connected the front axle, replaced the front shocks, and replaced the steering dampener. I still need to order some ZJ V8 Variable rate Coil springs.

Anyone with a Lowes store nearby, All Kobalt tools came with a lifetime replacement warranty no questions asked. just take the tool back to Lowes and they will exchange it with one that is in stock or will order another one if needed. I would check first to make sure that your store does it as well, but this warranty covers ALL their tools, not just hand tools like Sears and Craftsman.

I bought some of their wratchets, and the first time I used the 3/8" one, it broke, got another one, it broke, did this 5 times with the 3/8 wratchet then got denied and given a phone number to call to get approval. Called the number, got a message saying to leave my info and I would be called back within 48 hours.... they never called back. I found my receipt, took it back again, asked for a manager, and got my money back. The 1/4" wratcht I got is doing great and I love using it, I just wish the other one was a s good. Sorry for hijack.

Today I put in new linkage, wiper arms and blades to go along with my new windshield. Install took about an hour. Thanks to LEAD_NOT_FOLLOW for the DIY write up that made it really easy to accomplish.

Replaced the front, driver-side u-joint over the weekend. It was a PITA, but looking back on it, was a lot easier than it could've been:

And the reward was a shiny new one of these:

And applied this before work: :clapping:

i don't about anybody else but i don't like the way that ujoint cap is still poking out a little. ^^^^

the trick with the is to tap them on each cap to loosen up the clips, then save yourself some trouble and buy the press from harbor freight. its 60 bucks and pays for its self each time you change a joint or ball joints.

anyway. installed the spartan in the 8.25 today! jamminz.gif

i offically hate c clip axles now too :headpop:

I assure, the cap was fully seated and all of my work was inspected by a mechanic afterward, hence the passed inspection. I appreciate your concern, though.

hood spacers installed :chillin:

raised it up about an inch and half. should let out all that unwanted heat now

Thats a crazy good idea

I know Hondas do that because of ther engine swaps. Engine is too big?? Use hood spacers!
