Boots
That is an excellent use of that area. Can I suggest a nut and a lock instead of two regular nuts for theft deterrence? It's the one reason I don't mount my Hi-Lift outside of my TJ. I drilled a hole through the piece of steel that goes across the two uprights and put a lock through it and one of the holes in the Hi-lift. I can post a pic tomorrow if any one wants... jimoshel
Removed the bent front bumper. Now trying to make up my mind whether to replace it with another common black MJ bumper or a shiny chrome one with guards and lights from a XJ.
Boots
Heck yes. Could you fab up some more if other members wanted some? I don't think it would be all that practical for me to start selling them. I'm only 16 and school just started again so that keeps me pretty buisy, along with the MJ. If enough people really wanted me to make them I would think about it, but I don't think that many people would actually want them. I'm more than willing to share measurements and what not with everyone though. Pic of the lock, Just cause: Image Not Found Thanks for the interest

Boots
If your just posting to say you would like a jack mount, please pm me instead, I don't want to clutter up the thread. I'm still not going to sell them as of right now, but that could change if there are a ton of people that want them and I have some extra time. Pic of the lock, Just cause: Image Not Found Thanks for the interest I was 14 and in school when I started my first business. I was buying Army surplus Ford flat head V8'S for $50 and 24VDC, 200Amp aircraft generators for $20 and building welders out of them. I sold the finished units for $100 each. Gave me spending money for school and helped me buy my first car, a 1938 Buick 4DR convertable for the princely sum of $40. The guy was asking $45 but he couldn't get it to start so he knocked $5 off.

Pulled off my steering linkage to align my axle (hopefully). Need a new track bar before I can get that done. And, I removed the rear flares for sanding and priming tomorrow. :D

jimoshel
Steering box went out on my DD, '87MJ. Out of over 30 XJ-MJ in the yard I couldn't find another manual steering so I pulled everything from a '89XJ and converted to power steering.
