  1. I don't know for certain whether there is a difference auto to manual for the front shaft. Shoot me a pm with some details on yours and we will talk.
  2. I am in need of a front and a rear driveshaft for the refuge. I have a 4.0L/ax-15/231 shortbed with a D30/D44 combo. I am in need of these soon and if I can't find factory ones will have to order new ones. Would rather save some cash and buy older factory ones.
  3. power windows and locks? cruise control? Did I stumble into a cadillac forum? LOL I had power windows, locks, and mirrors on my first MJ. It was nice but I got frustrated when the windows slowed way down one winter. I kinda like the manual windows and locks I have now. K.I.S.S. If I need a door locked or unlocked or the other window rolled up or down I just reach across. It is nice to be 6' with a wingspan to match. lol Now AC is one I can't live without......
  4. Just don't get it on your hootus..... :rotf: :rotf: Looks really good. How much Herc. did it take?
  5. I am an idiot. It was just too big for one post. Please disregard.... :hateputers: :wall:
  6. I haven't tried that yet but will give it a shot.
  7. Sorry. It is a new thread I am trying to create and it won't create it. Here is the page it gives me when I hit submit. ---http://comancheclub.com/forums/posting.php?mode=post&f=24&sid=0b0e4d2017d1f224d9934ef38e84a6f0--- If you want, I can copy the whole thread here. lol
  8. Pete I have a rather long and highly picture laden post I am trying to put up in the for sale section but for some reason when I hit submit all I get is a blank screen and it won't post. Not sure if something is jacked up with the board or what.
  9. Easy fix. Just swerve before you honk and wave. :clapping: :D
  10. LMAO!!!!!! I made the girlfriend watch it and she says "you boys get tickled over the silliest things". I said "yup". :rotf:
  11. Junk it. As said before. IIRC the '96+ hoses will swap with the older ones and do away with the valve. Also make a good time to flush the heater core if not the whole system. And as mentioned you can either plug the end of the vacuum line with a golf tee or screw or you can trace the line back to the manifold (or wherever it draws vacuum from) and remove the line there and cap it with a vacuum cap available at any parts store.
  12. If you gonna junk those IPF lenses I will gladly take them off your hands... :brows:
  13. If you need a place to store that factory plow just let me know there is plenty of real estate on the front of the Junkyard Refugee to hold it. :brows:

  15. I have the same and fitted the XJ full console. Used a stainless soap dish to cover up the floor shifter plate. :D Surprised you settled for stainless and didn't spend hours searching for a chrome one Don. :rotf: :peek:
  16. dumb question: do you have intermittent wipers?
  17. Where you located at?Thats exactly what I need! aaron Huntington IN
  18. I have a aw4 out of a 4.0L 4wd. It is 21 spline. Includes torque converter and possibly flex plate (gotta see if its there don't remember if I pulled it too) $100 plus shipping. I also have the matching 231 that I will throw in for another $100. They were pulled from a wrecked 89. Was running when wrecked. I do not know the mileage.
  19. I would be interested in details. Wouldn't a simple jumper wire allow the low beams to feed power to the high beams also, causing them both to be on all the time no matter what?
  20. I have now done a wiring upgrade on 2 MJ's, 1 XJ, and my CJ. Have seen good to amazing improvements on all of them. I did my CJ first and chose to go with IPF housings and H4 bulbs. This was a dramatic change and a worth while investment seeing as how I will probably never sell that old heep. Second was my old MJ and I also elected to go with the IPF housings to compliment the new wiring. Again a great upgrade. Next was the XJ which just got a harness upgrade. It was definately an improvement but not as great as the others. Lastly was my current MJ which got a new harness and Sylvania Silverstars (had to try them after all the hype). The silverstars were definately way better than the stock lights but not quite as nice as the ipfs but way cheaper too. Hope this helps. I have future plans of some H4 housings and higher wattage bulbs for the current MJ on down the road.
  21. No pics but I have 2 12" Kenwoods in my MJ. Had to custom build the boxes and put the amp under the passenger seat.
  22. I have a set of brand new TJ coils that I will trade you for your lift springs.
  23. Sweet shifter knob too . Thanks man. I wanted to do something different that could easily be changed back to stock if I want to. And dad just happened to have an extra stag laying around sooo......
  24. Well I have an update. The MJ is back on the road with the fresh AX-15. Now to finish the front shaft and shift linkage so I can enjoy my 4x4 :brows:
  25. I don't have any pics and my setup is probably a little overboard. I have an aiwa head unit with a set of rockford fosgate 6.5" (?) in the door. And then a set of 12" Kenwood subs in custom boxes behind the seat pushed by a 1200 watt Kenwood amp. I am happy with the sound quality in the truck and it really isn't that noticeable outside due to the seat baffling alot of the sound. If you want to keep the room behind the seat I wouldn't recommend my setup.
