Some of you guys know that in February I'll be traveling from Indiana to California, 4000 mile round trip, to pick up black betty from Bo (shelvyluvv). I'll be pulling my 18' flat deck trailer. Me and my girlfriend are making it an 8 or 9 day adventure, stopping by the grand canyon and in Vegas. I need to know what your opinions on the most secure way to lock my trailer up in the hotel parking lots while we're out enjoying ourselves at each stop? The trailer might or might not have a Comanche on it going to California. Cough cough john... Thought about just padlocking a ball in it every time. Sent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk

Nice looking truck. I have a 20" on my bumper with pods next to it and flush mount pods as my head lights Sent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk

I honestly wouldn't even buy another one lol. Id spend money on something useful. But if they both last 10 years and I had to buy another one, id buy the eBay one. Especially with how bad FCKs customer service is. Sent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk

Retro SCCA Race Truck Project

Kinda off subject but since I saw your rear bumper and noticed your quarter panel was dented... this might be a cleaner option...97+ rear bumper with end caps. It's really close! The quarter panel angles are the same XJ and MJ. I slapped my mj armor on my xj for a perfect fit. Would probably require you to cut and fold the quarter panels and then shorten the xj bumper to fit the body as a roll pan. And I started messing with a bolt on roll pan last year but this was as far as I got Sent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk- 44 replies

My xj is on a slight decline so the light doesn't shine as far out as it does going down a level road but this is still a good comparison. My FCK light bar is a $350 50", eBay is a $55 52". EBay has a wider pattern since it has floor patterns on each side while the FCK is all spot pattern. So for this reason, FCK shines a little further. Sent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk

Just as bright, if not a little brighter, because of the beam pattern than my expensive bar! I'll get pics in a bit. For $55,if it lasts a year it's worth it. Other one has lasted 3 years but gotten moisture in it.not sure if from manufacturer error or if I hit a limb with it and opened it up. They have horrible customer service so I know I won't buy anything else from them... Not sure what I'm going to do with this on though... Sent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk

Mine? I sold it to a guy in Florida and he's putting it on a 2008 Tacoma I believe. He plans to tour south America and Australia running drugs or something... Sent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk

I did. It was pretty bright but I didn't have my xj to compare it to my other light bar. I drove my xj to work tonight. I'll try it in 6 or 8 hours. I'll do a 20' shine against a somewhat dark building to show the light pattern comparison then when I get home I'll shine further out across my yard Sent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk

You guys suck. I'm such an impulse buyer and give into peer pressure easily.... Sent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk

I think I got ripped off on the 8D reflectors.... my 4D look more "D" than this light bar. Lol. It was recently bright when I tested earlier. Wasn't really dark enough yet. Sent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk

It actually just got delivered. I'll try it out tonight if I have time at work Sent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk

We shall see. My FCK lightg bar is amazingly bright. And it better be for $400. If this cheap light bar only works for 10 seconds, but starts a forest fire a mile away at noon, I'll be impressed and it was worth the $55. Ha! Sent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk

California Comanche
krustyballer16 replied to crumbscomanche's topic in Member Projects: Your Comanches
Not sure how it is after a lift, but with stock and my 4.5" lift, they have about a 3" rake. Like that from the factory I think. I like the look of it over level. And it helps with a trailer on. Sent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk -
313,000 compared to the 2800watt with 445,000. So obviously they have no idea Sent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk
