  1. On post? Diesel here is a mere $3.84. Yes Sir!
  2. Diesel just hit $4.40 here today!
  3. Check the wheel bearing. WJs are known for warping rotors extremly fast if the wheels are not torqued to spec.
  4. Wheel bearings? Is it 4WD? Check the CVs and the front drive shaft.
  5. When I replaced the filter on my WJ with the 5/45RFE trans it came with instuctions and a BIG note that says not to put it on the filter first. Hopefully you used a good filter. I had an issue with the Jeep stalling. Only once a day in the morning, at a stop light. After I melted my brain trying to figure it out I finally did. It was a bad filter from Autozone. I replaced it with a NAPA one and never had another problem.
  6. Oh yeah! Look at that chrome! Image Not Found Just in case anyone is wondering, that is my factory black covered door glass trim. I stripped the plastic coated trim with aircraft stripper. Then polished it with Mothers. I also have chrome drip rails, stainless windshield trim, and polished Ford Ranger towing mirrors. I will have my chrome door handles soon too! Don better step up his chrome game! She'll be rocking this front end too! Image Not Found
  7. And you will be warned! If you continue you will be given a time out. I am pretty sure you are adult enough to be able to get your point across without using your choice words.
  8. It is flash rust on the drums and rotors. It used to happen to my XJ when I lived in GA. It is normal. Just be careful in the rain for the first couple of stops.
  9. Forwards. The BWs, when installed correctly, cover the bottom edge of the filler door. You either have to chop up your flare or slide it back to clear. Neither one is a viable option on my son's truck. This will be his DD/show rig/Tow rig for the Shelby once he turns 16.
  10. I am just not willing to gamble on $500 that they fit a long box. The BWs do fit but you have to slide the drivers side back to clear the filler door. I love the look of the flares but I am not willing to hack up my truck for a set of flares that might fit.
  11. Just a suggestion. I like the RK coils because they ride better. I have tried RE, RC, BOR, BDS, and RK coils through the years. I like the ride and rate of the RK coils the best. Coils tend to get weak and bow the taller they get. Shorter coils retain their ride and spring rate better than a long coil. Do you really need a $250 tire or do you just want them? There are tons of tires that are priced way less than ANY BFG. They are great tires but a Maxxis Big Horn is just as good and lasts twice as long. If you do a SOA with a new 1" pack it will make the @$$ end over 8" of lift for about a year until they settle. Your stock springs are already settled. They more than likely will not sag much more in the next few years.
  12. For a all around DD/wheeler this is what I would do, FRONT Rough Country Drop Brackets RockKrawler 4.5" coils 2" poly spacers RockKrawler Track Bar and Bracket Bilstein 5100 shocks GMC 1500 brake lines REAR Ruff Stuff easy axle kit (spring plates, shock tabs, u-bolts, nuts, and spring perches) Bilstein 5100 shocks Dakota rear brake line. You could get some RE or RK ADJ control arms but they are not required. With the parts listed above you can have a good riding and performing 6.5" lift for way less than an off the shelf kit. That is the setup I have used on a few trucks and it works good. I do not see the need to run Long Arms on a mild wheeler. It is a waste of money.
  13. You will need to cut a bunch of metal to run 33's on a 3-4 lift. The front is the problem. The rears will clear a 33 pretty easy. 6.5" is about the best for the front with minor trimming. This also allows you to go SOA in the rear and save a pile of cash on parts. Oh, Stay away from Rockyroad.
  14. What are the ultimate plans for the truck? Mudder, crawler, DD, or a all around truck for all situations? This will drive the build. You will see most run a bastard lift. A bunch of stuff from different vendors I am running RC drop brackets, Rockkrawler 4.5" coils, 2" poly spacers, SOA in the rear.
  15. You did not hear this from me, Military (Marine Corps) Hummer brush guards work perfectly for tube doors. http://www.jeepsunlimited.com/forums/showthread.php?t=291075
  16. 7/8s wrench and a BFH. Slide the wrench over the sensor and hit it hard as hell with the hammer.
  17. I have a stock 4WD, 2.5, AX5, shaft. PM me if you want it.
  18. Watch the first few seasons of the UK Top Gear. They sucked as well. Once they figuered each other out they stared to get a lot better. If the American version stays around I think it will be just as good.
  19. You can. It will shove the axle back about a foot though.
