PA just charged me over $300 for my plates and registration for the Cummins! Weight class III $153 Title $22.50 Transfer $6.00 Taxes (difference from GA to PA) $150.00 It was going to be over $400 for GA so I guess it worked out in the end and makes getting my sticker easier every year until I retire.

87/00 Comanche Classic Diesel LWB 4 X 4

I love the interior! I am truly a fan of the cordovan interior. If that carpet is as good as it looks in the pics I would be willing to buy it! That is a really nice truck. I am thinking a agate 97+ interior with 96 ZJ clothe seats would look great with the burgundy exterior. -
It is Sir Sam's website. colorado4x4 or something like that EDIT: found it http://colorado4wheel.com/images/jeepwheels/wheelsindex.html

I think the box is for cruise control.

Project "Black Betty"
shelbyluvv replied to shelbyluvv's topic in MJ Hardcore Tech: Epic Journeys to Greatness
I got hooked up today with a burgundy knee board for free. The only problem was it had some holes drilled for a fan switch and a power outlet. I was also just given a brake controller and a CB. After several hours of cutting, filing, and making suitable brackets this is how we solved the problem of the unwanted holes in the dash. Since this truck will be used to tow the pop up and the Shelby on a trailer the brake controller is a must. If you are going to travel or wheel a CB is a must have as well. It took Dakota and I about 5 hours start to finish but he is happy with the way they turned out. This is going to be his truck and the Shelby is going to be his restoration project. Not like it needs much, it only has 70K on it. -

You do understand that this is a fuel injected vehicle and not a carbed one? FI engines like more heat in them to run at optimal temperature. If you start over cooling the engine you can actually seriously hurt the engine and fuel economy. It is running normal. Leave it alone before you do have a problem. -
Rocky Road's DBs fit like crap. There was a member here that installed them and they took him forever. The fitment was total crap. I book marked mudflaps though for future use! Loving the build so far. I decided to give Betty to my son as well. He will be driving in 3 years. Man how time flies!

Thanks Thunderbear. I may have a line on one but once you get it out let me know. I will still take it. I just hope none of it falls on the Charger. If it does I will crush every bit of it. :fs1: Semper Fi!

I decided that I want to keep my good stuff off the floor and in the bed of the truck. This is my 2000 front clip, Baja style light bar, extra tail lights (I have more in a box), COMANCHE emblems, 2.5 and 5.2 Litre badges, and the best thing is the REAR one off 97+ flares. And my good friend Johnnyc gave me this...

Those clips are a royal PIA to get off! Truck looks great!

That is outstanding advice! About exactly what my experience has been. Only I have a foreclosure on my credit report so my interest rate is slightly higher. I knew I had to buy a vehicle to help rebuild my credit history so I bit the bullet and financed my 07 Cummins for $438 a month for 5 years. Plus, I got a really sweet truck out of the deal.

Hurry up and start stripping that thing. I need some interior parts. Welcome to the club. The 97+ conversion is a cake walk. Just take your time and enjoy the ride. There are a few here who have done it including me. Feel free to ask for help anytime you need it. Bo -
I think you stand up through the center of the camper and slide over to the side hanging over the truck.

I have a dark gray WJ that I call the Dragin Wagon. It had a ARB bull bar and a rear tire carrier.

Be careful with that website. That is my old dealership in Georgia. A lot of the stuff they have listed is not in stock anywhere in the country. You might want to call them and double check if they have it or not. (770) 479-7404

Cordovan And yes I am serious about trading it.

I have one sitting in my MJ right now! I stumbled on it in the JY and I knew how hard they are to find. Sadly, I am keeping it. I will trade it for burgundy B pillar trim panels though.

Take some pics of your exhaust. It was replaced by a new head pipe by a PO. All MJs came with cats. (except diesels)

PM JBhill, he still has my steering wheel I never picked up from him a few years ago. If he still has it and will ship it to you, your son can have it! It was a really nice wheel too.

I got mine today too! Thank you for the hard work. -
Look into the 6.5 Turbo from GM. It will make the power you are looking for and are a decent motor if maintained properly. Our HMMWVs use them and they can get a 20K truck moving pretty good. Also the motor mounts from AA should bolt right to it. Not to mention a 4L80e is a strong trans that can be run on a stand alone TCM.
