The Aussie lift is simply sliding the front struts down 3/4", replace the factory bolt with a new one and torque to 80 ft lbs. The rear is as simple as putting a 10mm spacer on top and under the rear coils. Have it aligned and enjoy your 1.5" lift! For $60 you can have a lifted KL.
Tires range seem to be hit or miss on fitting. 255/70r17s may fit but can require wheel spacers or grinding of the pinch seam.
We have a KL Cherokee Trailhawk and love it. The V6 and FACTORY tow package are the way to go. The Renegade is cool but it is grossly under powered. We average 22 combined and 28+ HWY in the KL.
They look damn good with the "Aussie Lift" and slightly bigger tires too!
Neither. The GLH was an Omni. The GLHS was either a 86 Omni or a Black 87 Shelby Charger that were modified by Carroll Shelby. 500 GLHS Omni's and 1000 GLHS Chargers.
My car is just a plain old 87 Shelby Charger. Funny thing is, they only made 445 garnet 87 Shelby Chargers.
Close...
The 4.0 will fit in a 86 with minor mods to the firewall and core support. It takes a couple bumps with a hammer to clear the valve cover. The "RENIX Jeep" was not because of the engine. It is because of the Renault/Bendix fuel injection system. The "HO Years" are because the fuel injection system went to OBD-I.
The piston rings are worn and are allowing compression by them into the crank case. This causes over pressure to blow seals and push oil out the breather into my air box.
Before anyone says check the CCV line for a blockage, I did a leak down and compression test. The rings are bad.
It's not the exhaust and little tinks you're thinking of Don. It is the lifters losing their "pump up" upon shut down. The oil pressure will take a second to build after start up as well.
Mine does it every time I shut it off. You can try to change your oil and filter to good quality stuff and see if it goes away. My engine has blow by so I refuse to put good money into a dead horse.
Pull it and see if it squats on that side. If not call it good and spend the money on something else. Good looking truck. I like the 86 MJ, but I'm biased.
Unless you want the rear 4" higher than it is now, no. I won't recommend cRusty's parts to anyone either. Look up Hell Creek and give Tom a call. He is a member here and will treat you right. He has stock rear packs, metric ton, or 3"-4.5" packs.
Just so you know the 93-95 ZJ was OBD-I. The dash uses all dumb gauges and it is damn near a bolt in. Use a Ram engine too. That way the manifolds and starter cause interference issues. I'll bow out now. Good luck!
Come on man. I know you have the internet. Jump on Google and type in "Raptor 350 CDI" then go to YouTube and do the same.
It's your ignition. It tells the coil when to fire.
