  1. ZJ = 93-98 WJ= 99-04 WK=05-10 WK2=11-current
  2. A 2000 Grand Cherokee is a WJ. The front coils are much bigger than a T,Z,X,MJ coil. They will not fit in the MJ coil buckets. You want to find 93-98 Grand Cherokee front coils. They will give you about 1 1/2"-2" depending on how worn out they are.
  3. Nope. ZrFe56z8FEE
  4. when I was playing the swap the interior game on Onyx the cluster was swaped out many times. The 97+ XJ custers kept their mileage and so did both the TJ clusters I used.

    Semper Fi Marine!
  6. I honestly think you would be better off getting a 93-95 ZJ as a donor. I got my 94 ZJ donor for $400 and all it needed was a CPS. These years will be OBD-I and have the 46RH transmission. The 46RH is a very stout unit. It is basically a 727 with an overdrive unit. Keep an eye out on Craigslist for a first gen ZJ donor.
  7. Cool stuff Mel. I am glad to hear you are getting the Dakota fixed up. I have always loved those trucks. When I got bit by the Shelby Dodge bug... I got it bad! I owned every thing from turbo wagons to turbo vans. I still can't believe how far Ma Mopar was ahead of the times in the late 80s and early 90s. I miss the days of being able to pick up a cheap pocket rocket and beat on Mustangs.
  8. Mel buy that Thrifty!!! I have always wanted a Thrifty car. I just could not leave my L body roots.
  9. Thanks for the boost in confidence Jeff! It has been a loooong hard road to get to where I am. I still have a bunch more to do before she is ready for the street. BTW: There is a 2JZ swap in process on another Cherokee board.
  10. Welcome! Can you post or PM me the last six numbers of the VINs? Or if you choose post them up in the registry.
  11. My god, we've created an MJ monster! The force is strong with this one. Rob :D :clapping: :clapping: :clapping: :clapping: I lol'd!
  12. We get air blocks in the Hummers all the time when we do engine swaps. This is the only we can get the blockage out of the steering gear. I am hoping that is his problem and the ATF did not smoke his new pump or the steering gear.
  13. We bought a pressure washer from these folks, http://www.allamericancleaningsystems.com/ It is supposed to be "All American" built, lol. The engine and pump are Italian and the hose is from Thailand? So much for all American!
  14. Thanks brother! That was such a nice rig. By far my favorite wagon out there!
  15. air in the system? Jack it up and turn the steering lock to lock about 20 times WITHOUT it running. Do it again with it running. then lower it and take it for a drive. The non-running will force the gear to bleed the air.
  16. Not me brother! I like the mount. It looks very good. You will have 200 more ponies than me. You need to make sure it is rock solid. You might want a gusset between the legs of the mount though. Do you have the trans and transfer bolted to the engine? If not you might run into floor board clearance issues.
  17. Ditch the block huggers and get some ZJ manifolds. I have zero fitment problems with the exhaust. I am using the ZJ "Y" pipe too.
  18. The 4.0L is known for having piston slap. It is probably what you are hearing.
  19. Check this out! http://www.s10forum.com/forum/f125/greasing-a-sanden-335538/ New approach to a old problem. I guess it worked pretty good for him.
  20. Thanks man, it sounds like you are on the right track. I am not running A/C in my truck and don't plan on it. I have not looked into any of the A/C stuff. I am sure you could always get new A/C hoses made at a shop. The renix tach will not work with the ChryCo ECM. The 5.2 ECM sends a dedicated signal to the coil and the tach. Where the Renix uses old school technology to run the tach. The 3.3 in the G body is a OBD-I to OBD-I straight swap. Thus the reason the gauge worked. Are you good with wiring? It is not a easy thing to adapt the harness to run 5.2 at all. I did not even mention half of the things that need to be addressed in my build. I am not trying to turn you off but it is a royal PIA the make the harness. Good luck, Bo!
  21. You could have got the correct font stickers from Spencer at www.jeepsticker.com for $2.00 more. Truck looks good though.
  22. Anyone with a Full Size Wagoneer or Cherokee. They were not factory on the MJ. Someone put it on the truck. I personally don't like it.
  23. No, its because sheep would be too obvious. :clapping: :clapping: :clapping: :clapping: :D :D :D :D
  24. That black truck is a Toyota. Did I miss it there somewhere?
  25. The black dash in Oceanside did not make it out in one piece. As my buddy was pulling it the top of it shattered and split. He did manage to get me a good gray dash and console though!
