  1. Just to give you guys looking to make the seats tip forward more options... http://www.comancheclub.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=16295 Here is my write up using 96 ZJ seats with 97+ XJ 2 door tilt mechanisms.
  2. I'd be down for a set of MJ to ZJ seat tracks.
  3. If you decide to let them go I want them. They will fit the look I am going for on my truck.
  4. Rob, you could only get the Crew Cab with a short bed. They were too long as a 4 door long bed for the 85 EPA and crash standards. Tricky Ma Mopar. Just like she did with the 78 Lil Red Truck stacks to get around the catalytic converters.
  5. They are what is known as Hurricanes. If they are 15X8's I would love to have them!
  6. PLEASE GET HIS VIN! I think that was around the time mine was built.
  7. Congrats!!! Be safe up there!
  8. More than likely it was replaced at some point. All factory MJ sliders I have seen are 3 pane. I prefer the solid glass window though.
  9. Can someone please take some measurements of a stock shroud? I need the measurements of the areas (they are hard to see) between the red arrows. Basically the length and width of the rectangular area. Thanks in advance, Bo.
  10. Yep, you must be using a phone.
  11. I did it to my 94 XJ a few years ago. Worked very well offroad. Bumpstops are a must. http://i37.tinypic.com/fllwl1.jpg

  13. With an OBD-II system it will throw a code for that sensor. It will cause the EGTs to get extremly high and melt your cat in a very short time.
  14. Where you stationed and who are you with? I am a Jarhead too. Semper Fi
  15. A ZJ 318 is damn near a bolt in. You must be good with wiring to pull it off. If you don't have a complete donor ZJ laying around don't even try it. See the Betty build in my sig for Ideas.
  16. The ZJ sterring column will NOT bolt in. The angle is different where it mounts and goes through the firewall. The steering wheel will be about 2" above the seat. You will need to either cut the firewall area out of the ZJ. Which is a pain because it is 2 pieces and it has seam sealer holding it together. Or modify a later model (95 or 96 only) XJ column to fit. Those are pretty much your only options.
  17. New U-bolts and a way to make the height sensing valve happy if you still have it.
  18. I do not know of any company that makes drop in replacement gauge clusters for the MJ. You could go all aftermarket gauges. But, they will run you $500+ for all of them. You can follow the pins on the connectors to where the go on the gauge with a thin line Sharpie. I did this when I was swapping the ZJ gauges into my 86 Cluster. The 86 gauges are pretty "dumb" gauges. Could you use a YJ cluster for your project? Welcome back Dillinger I ain't heard from you since the long gone JU Off Topic days. Heard anything from Para lately?
  19. I do. I have been asking everyone who has an 86 for their last six numbers so I can see if she is the first of her kind. So far the closest is 003750. Sadly the door sticker is faded and I can't see the build date. But, everything I have taken off has had a tag or sticker that says 4/85. That is the reason I went away from the 4 door conversion on this truck. Also why I am making everything for the Magnum swap a bolt in affair. Once I saw the VIN I thought she might be an extremely early truck. The options in it were weird too. 2.5, 4X4, AX-5, A/C, no power steering, black on black, and chrome bumpers. All on a base truck?
  20. Like the one and only Dillhole? if it is you, you will understand.
  21. My 87 was built in August 86. It currently resides less than 20 miles from where it was sold new. Does yours have a V6? This one did.
  22. ChryCo is slowly weeding out Dana. They dropped Dana in 2003 for the Ram pickups. My 07 2500 has a AAM axles front and rear.
  23. Here is my former 84 Rampage I sold (miss it still) I still have my 87 Shelby Charger. I bought it in 97 with 59K. It currently has 71K on it. I have owned a Turbo Mini (built with the help or Gus Mahon, Paul Smith, Gary Donovan, and Mike DeMoss), A bunch of Shelby Daytonas (87-89), a IROC R/T, and a Spirit R/T. I am on the hunt for another Page or Scamp or a Turbo Mini.
