A Marine Gunny and a Navy Chief are standing next to each other in the head taking a piss. The Chief leans over and takes a peak at the Gunny's member and almost faints. He can't believe the size of the Gunny's member. The Chief then asks the Gunny. "How did you get it so big?" The Gunny smiling- "I go home every night and just before bed I knock it against the bed post seven times." That night when the Chief gets home he heads to the rack and just before getting in bed he whips it out and starts knocking his member against the bed post. The Chief's wife awakens and asks, "Is that you Gunny?" Sorry Don! :D :D :D :D :D

A young Marine officer was in a serious car accident, but the only visible permanent injury was to both of his ears, which were amputated. Since he wasn't physically impaired he remained in the Marine and eventually rose to the rank of General. He was, however very sensitive about his appearance. One day the General was interviewing three Marines for his personal aide. The first was an aviator, and it was a great interview. At the end of the interview the General asked him, Do you notice anything different about me? The young aviator officer answered, why yes, sir. I couldn't help but notice that you have no ears. The general got very angry at the lack of tact and threw him out. The second interview was with a female Lieutenant, and she was even better. The General asked her the same question, Do you notice anything different about me? She replied, Well, sir, you have no ears. The General threw her out also. The third interview was with a Marine Gunny. He was articulate, looked extremely sharp and seemed to know more than the two officers combined (surprise). The General wanted this guy, and went ahead with the same question, Do you notice anything different about me? To his surprise the Gunny said, Yes sir; you wear contacts lenses. The General was very impressed and thought, what an incredibly observant Gunny, and he didn't mention my ears. And how do you know that I wear contacts? The General asked. The sharp-witted Gunny replied, Well, sir, it's pretty hard to wear glasses with no freaking ears.

"Five Most Dangerous Things in the Marine Corps" 1. A Private saying, "I learned this in boot camp..." 2. A Sergeant saying, "Trust me, sir..." 3. A Second Lieutenant saying, "Based on my experience..." 4. A Captain saying, "I was just thinking..." 5. A Gunny chuckling, "Watch this s..t!"

Misc electrical problems!!

Jump the plug. You can use a piece of wire to jump it. Make sure the ignition is on. -
My bad, you should have posted the URL to the thread. I am easily confused! LOL!!!

Check the sockets for corrosion too. It can cause all kinds of lighting ghosts. Also your reverse switch could be bad. Unplug it from the trans and jump the terminals and see if they work, -
Unless my CPU is messed up, He "quoted" Jim but has Jacked "post" quoted? :dunno: :D

It's a joke young buck. Re-read it.

Misc electrical problems!!
shelbyluvv replied to jeep_freek88's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
The reserve lights could be the ground behind the drivers side tail light. The turn signal light on the dash is telling you that you have a burnt out parking light. Could be front or rear. The reverse light problem could also be the NSS going out. Ever have any problems getting the truck to start when in park? -

I got the last of the wiring figured out. We got the brake and reverse lights to play ball. The final piece of of the puzzle was the overdrive light. After many hours of looking at the stock switch and wiring diagrams I managed to turn my factory XJ up-shift light into the overdrive off light. I am going to use a Hurst V-Matic shifter with a roll control button to activate the OD. The reason I am going with that style shifter is because my MJ has a column for a manual trans. This means that there is no shift interlock. I do not want the kids being able to yank it into gear by mistake. Plus I think they look real cool and fit the image of a 86 Retro-truck. -
Not yet. But, I am a lot farther away than most here.

I would like to retain the sliders on my XJ/ZJ seats. I am trying not to modify my floor. If you could make a set of adapters that would make bolting in a set of new style XJ sliders to the factory floor I would be all over them.

Project "Black Betty"

T-case lights are now operational. I have been chopping out all the unused wires from the rest of the engine harness. It would seem that the VSS connector goes through the TCM on a XJ. I will have to run a single harness into the engine compartment for this wire. I could tap into a unused wire and run it that way but that will make trouble shooting it a mess later should I forget about that wire. Next I have to shift the t-case 1 1/2"-2" towards the passenger side to get the VSS in and have the drive shaft clear the fuel tank a little better. Once the t-case arrangement is finalized the entire drive train comes out to detail the engine bay, front suspension, axle, and floor boards. One step at a time. -

I just got the speedo working. All gauges check out and are working correctly. I need to get the transfer lights working and all will be good with the engine harness. I can finally start moving on to the hose and line mounting under the truck. I think she may be up and running in the next three months or so. -

More wiring figured out. This is before cranking it up. (Sorry for the blurry pic) Check engine and seat belt lights work! The washer bottle and master cylinder are empty. Notice the low fuel light and HO MJ fuel gauge are finally working. In this pic she is running right after fire up. The washer and master cylinder were disconnected to turn the lights off. Notice the HO tach is adjusted perfectly to the thump of the V8. Also the check engine light is not on!!! It took me two days to figure out why the tach and fuel gauge did not work. All is good now! Now I will finish the rest of the wiring harness and bundle it up. -

I just went out an checked my truck. The connector you are looking for is the black one coming out of the steering column. You should have this wire left over from your adapter harness. It will need to be terminated and placed in the empty pin hole labeled "P" which is the empty hole here on the left of the connector. If you look closely at the connector you will notice the "P" right after the "N". Hope this helps. -
where Can i get a good rear bumper

I will not tow any trailer that weighs more than 1000 Lbs without brakes on it. I even have a brake controller in my WJ and the MJ will get it's once it is up and running. My life is worth more than the $25 a brake controller costs. If you are towing you NEED trailer brakes. -
Wow! You work fast. Good job Pat.
