    Jeep 1 - FedEx 0

Winter makes for some great stories, but I have no interest in living in that kind of stuff again. I had to pull a UPS truck out of the sand one time though... :rotf:
  3. That is wild! I have seen that before, but can't remember if it was posted on here or another board.
  4. Thanks guys  All emails should be replied to now. We are doing good on shirt orders, but it seems that no one is really interested in hats :hmm: . I have one hat ordered so far and we need at least 25 to make it possible to sell at the prices quoted. If we don't hit that mark I will have no choice but to just refund any money paid on them and maybe try a hat order on it's own at another time. If we get close to 25 (like 20) I can recalculate cost and see if eveyone is willing to pay another dollar or two and still get them made. Custom made hats are rather expensive to do unless you are making 200 - 300 of them at a time or more which is why I stayed with rather basic hats to keep the cost down. If the style is the problem, let me know as I can get fancier stuff, but it's going to cost... I didn't really think folks would want to be paying $25 - $30 for a hat though :dunno:
  5. I feel your pain. I have to take mine apart tommorow to install a new wiper motor :ack:
  6. Please talk in normal english. That texting crap is very irritating and hard to read...save that for your phone or what ever ;) . Thanks... Sounds like you just want to replace the AAL's to get back what you had. That is the problem with them...they only last a short time. You probably need to create a complete bastard pack of your own to fit your need.
  7. Well...to start with... STAY AWAY from Rusty's. They are like the plague around here...no one likes them because of issues with quality and poor customer service. OK...now...if you lift the front 2", you will only need about 1" max to be level. The easiest thing to do there is to get another main leaf, cut the eyes off and install it in your spring pack just under the main leaf. If you go SOA, the rear will lift between 5" & 6" so you will need 6.5" coils to match that as well as long arms etc, etc...

    My MJ

Welcome to the Club... and thank you for saving that truck.
  9. Hey...Welcome to the Club... Yea...you should ask your questions in the Tech forum  , but yes...there are several people on here from GA, but I am not sure about there orientation to you.
  10. Find a way to move the arm back up until it is pointing at the right side tire and keep it there. A replacement rod would be ideal, but I used a couple zip ties on mine for now.
  11. Jean does a great job at All Things Jeep. You can see her on a lot of sites using the screen name ' scramblerjean ' . I wondered how long it would be until she got in to the MJ thing
  12. At nearly 44 years old, I am thinking of going back to school since I have been unemployed now for over 3 months. I don't think the automotive field is going to be prosperous for me (or many others) any more so I am thinking of changing my whole life and going in to the medical field. I have been looking in to X-Ray Tech or Medical Billing & Coding so far. I like the billing & coding thing a little more right now as it can actually be done as a home based thing. It is about 20 months of classes to get the needed 65 credit hours and about $30,000  as far as I can tell in real school (need to look in to online)...ouch...BUT, the pay is good once certified and can be in excess of $65K with the right connections.
  13. That's a great story  I, personally, don't think that much of the city, but I guess if you have lived there all your life it would be that way ;)
  14. Definitely do some Google searching on it if you are not familiar with them. Small critters like that are usually quite sensitive to diet and care so be sure you know what he needs. Here is a good basic info page I found on a quick search. I have no idea that they ate stuff like it says on here... http://www.pogstarhedgehogs.com/basiccare.html I have though about having them before, but never have. They are kind of evil & cute looking all at the same time.

    I'm finally Done.

Congrats man... I have though a few times that if I had stayed in the Army...I would have been retired almost 5 years ago now, but I just could not see myself doing it back then...what a mistake.
  16. Damn Don...I am confused now... :rotf: I think I'll just go check out the Steeler website for a while again... :clapping:
  17. hmmmm...wonder if there is any Johnny Cash... EDIT: YES...THERE IS...I'm listening to Ring of Fire right now
  18. Depends on what year engine you have. If it is a Renix era ('87 - '90), then you are out of luck as far as I know. If it is the HO ('91 & newer), you can get things for them that do make some difference, but they are typically kind of expensive and usually not worth the money.
  19. Cool 8) I just set up some stations with AC/DC, KISS, Bon Jovi and Metallica for now
  20. PM's stay in your outbox until the recipient reads them :smart: ;)
  21. You post that so much i would put it in your sig block and use one of those link shrinkers and rename it MJ FSM!!! Maybe we all should!! i think i see that link at least twice a day in posts. It is very nice to have. Cole  I keep all of my favorite threads bookmarked so it's easy to get to them when I need them...especially the FSM & the Electrical manuals ;)
  22. Glad to hear you are warm again  lol i like that one. how are you people putting your own on here? is it just like putting pics on here Yea...I have a bunch of them saved in my Photobucket account to use.
  23. They are mated with the RKE receiver in the dome light/overhead console, as long as you take a mated pair of the transmitter and receiver you can install them into different XJs. I have about 4-5 receiver boards, and only one transmitter that is programmed to them(in my XJ). While they cannot be "bench" programmed, they can be programmed in the vehicle, then removed and reinstalled in another. In this fashion several could be programmed at the same time. Yep...that is possible. You are right that the DIY programming will not work on all vehicles, but it does work on many of them...I just don't know which ones for sure.
  24. I like it, but have not had any in many years... It will be BL Lime for me
  25. How ya gonna keep it lit?? :chillin: Put it in one of those big Muslim Bong things... JT...what where they called again... :hmm:
