  1. I just picked up a factory engine and transfer case skid...idk if I'll ever see a comanche with a gas tank skid in south Florida...I've only seen 2 in the jy for last almost 3 years
  2. Installed!!!!! And the optima I spoke about
  3. You either can grab a set of comanche bucket seat brackets or you can adapt your bench seat brackets to for your bucket seats there is a DIY thread about this.... http://comancheclub.com/topic/7656-making-xj-buckets-work-in-a-mj/
  4. Finally got my pool ball from azzy...can't wait to install
  5. No doubt that he is! But we will win the series....
  6. So the cherokee cps went out was going out when I was at the gas station but luckily I got it started to at least make it to my house to repair it...I notice down the street a red jeep with a roof rack but it wasn't a cherokee...the guy made a turn into a house and boom! A comanche! I get siked when I see one in the street.... It was a 2wd one with front and rear bumpers, roll bar, and buckets....
  7. Can't wait! When I finally got the parts to do the lift I was sooo excited!!!! I could imagine how you feel
  8. Do the wj knuckle and steering swap... Got a buddy with a cherokee with 13" lift and with one ton steering it would steering loosely and it was scary!!! Couldn't even let go of the wheel without it steering by its self Once he did the wj knuckle swap everything is right and nice tight he can actually let the truck coast with no problems....
  9. Idk...even though we lost miami plays a lot of team ball...we have the best player in the game! Obviously without him no team can win.... GO HEAT!
  10. Idk if I would go that tight...I did it hand tight because I didn't want to break a bolt in the head....
  11. Will always love this rig!!!
  12. But you are missing both hard lines to the left and rear drums of the rear axle
  13. I don't think that's a brake line hose...iirc that's the breather hose for the rear axle.... It's there because the axle needs to breath if not you'll be busting axle seals left and right....
  14. The first pic is correct, map sensor to throttle body..... The lines on your valve cover are wrong unless you have swapped valve covers... the bottom one goes on the top and connects to under the throttle body next to the one mentioned above The top one goes to the bottom and connects to the air box I will get more details about the rest of the lines when I get home to my truck but please have more details as to where the lines that are missing connections to as I or someone else can help you get you where you need to be
  15. ....part 1 ...part 2 He gets his stuff from rustys offroad website which the kit includes the inner seal that needs to be exchanged to fit the axle shafts and block off plate for the cad....
  16. Try taking out the radiator and put a water hose to it and drain as much as you can through it...after that do it through the engine... What else have you done by far for maintenance on This truck?
  17. I hear you don't have to with those particular gaskets but I put a little bit to stick to the valve cover...I've done it on my 88 2.5 comanche and my 98 4.0 cherokee
  18. Well the vacuum lines aren't that much of a difference...just that it switches on the valve cover itself...the thick bottom one has to be changed to fit the ccv on the aluminum cover to the air box and the thin one from the top switches to the side of the aluminum cover and down to the side of the throttle body... This pic doesn't show much but if you compare it to yours(plastic cover) you'll notice the difference
  19. Well I finally did the c101 elimination still gota clean it up...also picked up a rebuilt optima battery for the Manche.... Can't wait to drive it....
  20. Congrats man! I love this build! Two big thumbs up!
  21. I just did my truck this weekend and there are definitely a few that change colors so do as Cruiser says and go pin to pin. I also had 4 wires that didn't go anywhere on the other side of the connector so don't let that confuse you. And just to let everyone know I didnt have any problems with my truck before eliminating the c101 but it does feel like it runs more smoothly now. Typical. What did you guys do with the spare wires? Just leave them be? Edit: seems like the wires match to the wires of the auto transmission plug wires...
  22. Ok no problem I will cut the connected ones and redo then from pin to pin
