  1. Those look like those rancho control arms I've seen them in the jy on Cherokees with 1-2" of lift
  2. Ok so after work before even starting the truck...I rechecked the rear tail light ground to see if it was loose or anything...check Checked the wires at the fuel sending unit... Cleaned and checked for crimps or splices and everything plays out fine....check What I did notice is that by pulling the fuel pump relay I felt it too easy to pull put of its slot so I bend the constants points a little on all the relays and decided to drive back home.... Drove home with ease...but I did do a lot of shifting and moving around.... It's really has happened driving at high speeds or within a few minutes from start up..... Anybody else any other clues?
  3. Did you have any more luck figuring this out.
  4. Reading from your first post you said the engine cranks but doesn't start with out starter spray.... Does this happen with turning the key at the ignition?
  5. Well this morning it was more bucking than shutting off.... But all lights and radio were still on while it was happening.... Yesterday at 70mph I couldn't tell you if all electronics were on because it was broad daylight and I had my radio off I was cruising down the hwy and I felt the truck like a sudden loss. I look down at the rpm gauge and it was at 0 rpm. then as soon as I looked around to make sure I don't crash or hurt myself it cuts back on and cruises like if nothing ever happened....this happened twice riding home
  6. The bottom one in the pic is for the automatic transmission if it was equipped with one....the top one seems to be missing a connection either from the tb/injector wires or to the idle speed motor....
  7. Delphi pump.... Edit: correction denso pump....
  8. Crap that sucks if it's going out.... Only had the pump for 3 years....
  9. Last night I did a lot of city driving and no problems at all...this morning it would shut off cut back on...3 to 4 times...looks like I have another issue other than a relay.... Yes it does get hot..... Still having the same issues....
  10. I just swapped relays and so far no shutting off.... But I haven't done any long distance driving.... This morning just getting to the corner the truck wanted to shut off a few times.... I'm going to do some driving around now and well see how it goes
  11. Hey guys So today I've been having issues with driving at 70mph and the trucks completely shuts off, then cuts back on.... First reaction when I get home check grounds...everything is clean and tight...then just so happens I go to the relay strip and one relay was soooo hot as soon as I pulled it I had to drop it because it almost burnt my fingers.... Has this happened to anyone? Edit: it was the fuel pump relay....any Input would help thanks
  12. Nice! Looking good man!
  13. This truck is beast mode!!!! Awesome vid...catching some serious air....
  14. Lol. I'm just happy we got 2 out of 4 championships... A lot of my boys are hating him like Cleveland did when he left there... But it is annoying and his story is topping the world cup....
  15. Man! That 44 would've been a perfect pick up right now... Too bad I live in the far south east....
  16. Ok double check the vacuum hose from the bottom side to the throttle body... For me that hose always causes high idle when loose, cracked, or to much suction that causes the hose to close
  17. Top one goes to the air box but you would have to get a new vacuum line for it...and the one to the bottom right side goes to the throttle body....
  18. First off, it's a MN truck. Second, it's a winter driver of a MN truck. Third, I hate keeping around stuff that doesn't work. So, since the A.C. will probably never be used, the system leaks, and there wasn't any pressure anyhow I just got rid of everything. Makes getting to the oil filter that much easier too. :wrench:I'm in the process of deleting the AC on our 1990 Winter XJ. '88 MJ came without it and I've fully deleted it on the '90 MJ. No need for it up here, just more junk under the hood! I've been to Florida a few times though. I can understand why you think us northern guys are nuts for doing this. I live in Fl and have never owned a vehicle with AC. I just roll the windows down. Plus I live on the beach. I second that...the only thing that sucks when it's pouring rain. But I still ride with the rear sliding window open for a fresh breeze
  19. I don't mean to clutter your project build.... Best I've seen is from reson46 (wife'sj mj) with his custom made bumper with a hidden winch....I like the rustys but I don't like the way the winch is exposed from the bottom of the bumper.... The nates bumper sits in a cradle
  20. Napa/Echlin High Altitude CPS PN: ECH CSS637 For the 4cyl.... If it helps anyone....
  21. Outlaw Do you have a part # to that cps?
  22. Outlaw just recently grabbed one for his 4cyl http://comancheclub.com/topic/43539-the-squirrel-master/
