  1. Dude my heart just stopped when you mention you wanted a Mazda over a comanche....
  2. Nice! Love how your preserving this truck and show it's character even with the rust spots....
  3. Both fenders and brackets to hold the whole front header panel...no parts interchange from the 86-96 header panel except the head lights....
  4. Also, I have been in mud but not deep enough to the transmission but I could be wrong.... I wouldn't doubt that the slave could be slowly going out.... I live in miami and the heat is also high here and the humidity is crazy.... I daily drive this truck and when I leave work it's the hottest time of the day and with stop and go traffic....
  5. It only happens when I let go of the clutch pedal....but only for about 2-3 seconds then stops....it doesn't grind going into gear...so I know my synchros are in good shape... Shelby- I check fluid in trans(full, clean) put in 10w-40 oil back in January , transfer case(full/clean) , rear diff(full/mucky) but changed out that fluid Friday night and still same symptoms....
  6. Lol sorry.... Correct me if I'm wrong but wouldn't a throw out bearing cause trouble putting the transmission in gear? It has no problems doing that.. Just when it's in gear the first 2-3 seconds there's a scraping sound then it goes away....
  7. If you haven't already done this... http://comancheclub.com/topic/36382-cruisers-renix-tips/
  8. What's up guys I've been hearing a metal scraping noise similar to an exhaust noise but with metal.... At first I thought it was either trans/transfer case/rear diff/engine low or out of fluids... Checked those and all full.... Next, since it only happens within 1,2,3 gears I decided to put the trans(ax5) in neutral and rev the engine while coasting and no scraping noise...it only happens when the truck is in gear....but only after about 2-3 seconds then goes away until I press in the clutch and put it into the next gear Could this be a factor of the internal slave going out? And that since it's not fully extending/releasing the clutch plate to grab the flex plate and just scraping it? Until it fully grabs? Please any info is helpful....
  9. Slowly but surely....lol
  10. Sweet! I wish I can have tube doors but too many people who see an open vehicle instantly thinks to steal
  11. If you disconnect the lower control arms on the axle side you should be able to slide them in there...
  12. 91-01 Cherokee/wrangler/ Dakota(with the amc 2.5)
  13. You know that's the 2nd time I see that color pop up.... There's one down here (miami,fl) same color going for about $800
  14. What is this popping sound your talking about? I've been trying to diagnose a popping noise when I let go off the clutch.... I'm thinking it may be my clutch..I've checked u-joints and they're good...but after reading This thread I may have to put it up on jackstands to check it out.... It instantly happen when let off the clutch to accerlarate after first gear...
  15. They do you just gota search the exploded view of removing these parts... Edit: they don't have Mitchell? That one is great for international vehicles.... All data is great for American vehicles
  16. Thanks and they don't sit to high over the hood... They are bright...but got mixed feeling from the bright white LEDs to my 100watt amber headlights
  17. Auto or manual? Auto with 4.0...3.55gears Manual with 4.0 3.07 gears Ideal gears- Auto-4.56 Manual-4.10,4.11 If you want to go all out... 4.88s give mad get off the line power...
  18. So I had gotten a set of LEDs a while ago from a buddy of mine and finally got to wire them in.... Let me know what you think?????
  19. Their the same.... It's not like the ford 8.8 where you would have to buy spacers to fit wheels
  20. If it is a 44.... iirc they are aluminum in the zj/wjs... So they aren't desirable if your wheel your truck...
  21. Sounds like a little bit like its in security mode... Had a buddy with a 03 tj that did the exact same thing and he reset the computer and everything was back to normal after that
  22. Before buying a rebuild kit.... Try spraying a little bit of pb blaster from the outside in to where the door jamb locks... It'll clean out a bit of the gunk and you'll be able to unlock from the outside...sometimes it gets a bit of gunk inside but eventually it'll loosen up...
  23. Nice! Id love to get one of those...
