Rough Idle/driving Only When Cold
88whitemanche replied to BryceOJ's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
The 2.5s don't have an iac...they have a idle speed controller When mine was causing an high idle it was because the isc was worn and couldn't bring back the idle so I replaced it.... If you plan to get a new one after all the options above does not help here are the part #s Jeep p/n 83502375, Aftermarket manufacturers p/n 17079129. Fits 100s of Chrysler and GM vehicles. -
Temp Gauge Not... Gauging!!
88whitemanche replied to benjy_26's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
You know if I'm not mistaken there was a topic a while back that stated a double temp sensor on the 2.5s but initially the one to change for the cluster is on the head in the pic above shown... I'll research it or if cruiser knows? -
Temp Gauge Not... Gauging!!

Edit: That must be the the intake air temp sensor that you replaced...instead of the temp sensor The coolant temp sensor is on the right side back of the head with one wire..... -

The other day I was grabbing coffee at the local cafeteria I noticed an all white 60s 442 olds super clean! The guy parks far from everyone else then while walking in he notices the comanche....he couldn't stop looking at it. He kept walking around, at this time I was concerned because he couldn't stop staring at it...I walk outside after I grabbed my coffee and just jumped in the truck and he just says " your truck is beautiful! I haven't seen one in forever! Would you consider selling it?" I obviously declined but he just couldn't stop staring or giving me thumbs up... It was a great day!

What you can do is call your bank and file a claim if your card is assigned to your paypal account.... I recently had to do that earlier this month for a purchase I made for a bumper back in dec of last year and I got my money back....

Awesome job Pete....how did you manage to have a battery charger for it? My nephew has a similar one that the battery died completely out of it and was wondering a different way to have another battery in there -

Welp cleaned my grounds, checked the cps and all comes up good... Also noticed that the power steering plug was hanging on the power steering pump and some of the wires we're "maybe" grounding out but it didn't make any difference while I plugged it back in and fixed the frayed wires....
-
Just do it. Bog, hesitation, jerking at highway speeds......... Does this also involve the 2.5s also cruiser? ...I'm having a similar issue? I have already done all your tips and added grounds....
-
Yes I have...I have added a few more grounds, did the c101 delete...may have to recheck my grounds...and check my cps output just in case....
-
Lol He was the only one that came to play...oh well! Congrats to the spurs!
-
What's up guys I know a few of you have mentioned the morning stall before...what is it? What does it do? I've been having an issue where within the first 0-20 mins of driving the comanche is having a (miss/wants to shut off)moment then runs great the rest of the time

A C Compressor Help Needed
88whitemanche replied to Jeep Driver's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
No, I did not add oil. How would have have added oil? Oil or no oil..........45 seconds to lock.....it was used, not new, I assumed it already had oil running through it. I took a class a few years ago....the instructor was a 30year a/c mechanic and he's always said either new/used compressor there's always an amount of PAG oil to put inside to lube up the pistons so the compressor won't seize up.... -
