  1. No luck.... It's still doing the off and on instantly brigade....
  2. Get a Honda...as much as I hate those rice cookers they have killer gas mileage.... Got a coworker with a 95 civic and he's getting close to 20 mpg....
  3. Ok I can't find the video but the guy had the master cylinder on a vice at a 45 degree angle and added fluid and open the bleed valve on the slave cylinder until fluid kept coming out.... Then keep pushing the rod in the slave until you don't see anymore bubbles then install....
  4. Ok I haven't driven the truck long distance up until today and it shut off on me 3 times today so I went ahead and readjusted the tps which was out of sync... I got it exactly at the 17%....we'll see my test run on my way to work tomorrow and see if it helped with the shutting off issue.... First tps readings were 4.84 and 1.41.... So adjusted to 17% of 4.84 percent is .82 which where it is currently....
  5. Most of the plugs are other options you can add on in the future.... Rear cargo light, fog lights, and I forgot the rest...lol
  6. Got an ammo box in mine... I like it and I got enough space between the ammo box and mini center console to stuff a drink pinned in the middle while driving
  7. http://comancheclub.com/topic/35327-ax15-swap-back-up-light-wiring/?fromsearch=1
  8. I've only seen 3 in person and 1 on Craigslist....
  9. What did you use to clean the tps? I once let some gas fall on the tps and it killed it the next day... You may have to readjust your tps as per cruisers tips and go from there...
  10. Are the upper control arm bushings(axle side) same as the control arms?
  11. There's plenty but it all depends on your budget
  12. Wow she's a beaut!
  13. Lol... Nah it's still there... I happen to have a few too many of those laying around...I need to get them on the trucks already...
  14. Nope...someone had pulled the front axle off that Cherokee... It still had the transfer case skid on it...
  15. Looking good.... I swear when he found that skid plate.... It was the cleanest one I've ever seen...
  16. Interesting..... Once I find the lsd 8.8 I'll report back.... Thanks a lot fellas....
  17. Would you happen to have pics of your set up? I was searching through some of the forums and seen one where a guy with a tj bought from ecgs and used the stock jeep distribution block and hard lines to the soft lines.... Here are some of the pics.... The question is do the brake nuts(don't remember the name)from the jeep hard line fit into the ford soft line....
  18. 87warrior- Considering most of the guys who has paid over $1k usually regear the axles anyways and most don't have the lsd....so lockers are always an added cost.... Brakes are my biggest concern... I see guys had to bend new hardlines Problems with e-brake cables....I have a 5speed so I'll need those I haven't seen a true detailed write up on the whole 8.8 swap...maybe I'm just over thinking it but I'd like to have the xj on the road on a weekends worth of work.... Crash- thanks for the info...gives me insight on what to look for also I am looking into getting some 5x4.5 17" d-windows to save on cost of tires.... I've bought most of my tires on Craigslist and for a steal but that's long periods of searching....(15" wheels) 17" tires of mud terrains (33-37s) can go for about $300 with 60-80% thread....because of people not liking the noise these type of tires make...it's a lot of city driving here and most are mall crawlers Yes adapters may be cheaper but I don't want to run jk bolt pattern wheels....I think it's too much of an hassle... Overall I'm just going to wait for a 4.10 lsd.... By any chance did you guys have to rebend new hard lines or the current lines at that.... And what's with the double passenger soft line?
  19. How much $ do you have tied into your swap? I've been reading online of guys going over 1k
  20. Just checked and there are a few but will have to make a few calls to the ones without prices... The local upick yard (now lkq) is $180 out the door....
  21. Welp only found 1 8.8 with 4.10s and it's open I have a few days to consider if I want open or wait for an lsd 8.8
  22. Hmmm .... I think I may have to swap the complete assembly to the soft brakes lines over....
  23. Ok cool.... The Cherokee sees a lot of daily driving use and mild weekend wheeler... (The same goes for my Comanche but that has an amc 20 awaiting an Aussie....) I will consider the lsd there's over 20 explorers at the local jy hopefully I find the lsd one... Last Friday I checked a few (4-5) all has 3.73s and 1 with an lsd....
