  1. What a ending!!!!!! What a good game! The best team won
  2. Nc tarheels... Good game by far... But like most are mentioning "let them play" A lot of wuss foul calls
  3. Wrangler clocking is not that bad to not fit our trucks... Most guys here would agree it's better clocked up than down going off-road so you don't break your transfer case... I did an ax15 on my 4cyl with a 93 yj ax15 converted to external slave... I just had to hammer the tunnel to fit the transfer case but it wasn't too bad of a job.... Pics... Picture angle is not the best but I have about 1/2" space before any contact....
  4. Front is direct swap...rear has to get the spring perches welded for the Comanche wether you want spring under or spring over....
  5. Hope to see a review on the true trac... You did the gear install yourself?
  6. As far as the gas tank leak it could be just as simple as the oring at the sending unit...but verify first that it's not the tank that's leaking....
  7. I probably can but It would still be extra work I wouldn't want to mess with... Knuckles, calipers, unit bearings, pads, rotors preferably...
  8. Well this axle is in my Currently in my Cherokee and in order for me to get a correct geared front axle it would have to be geared to 4.10s which is RARE in south Florida or in any Jy for that matter...and the cost of regearing is just not worth it for me just for brakes... Do you know if I have to change out the unit bearings as well?
  9. No just to have the stock calipers and no anti rattle clips... Plus when parts break on these older axles it's harder to source than the newer ones in the Jy
  10. What's up fellas... Have been looking for specific details on putting on newer style calipers on my cad Dana 30... I know about changing out the knuckles but what else? Unit bearings? Ball joints? Thanks in advance
  11. Yea me too, although lately I've been seeing them more and more driving around but they're usually 2wd, but I have still yet to find a 97-01 2dr in a junkyard, And funny you say that, I'm actually thinking about converting them to power if I can get all the parts together, I know most people do the opposite, but I think I would just like the convenience, then again it's just an idea right now and only if I were to find the parts which is not that easy, I've only seen 3.... 2 I picked the rear axles out of and the 3rd I walked passed but should've grabbed the complete doors for spares. In which was half off day I would've take both for under $100...

    Rock Auto?

I also had an experience on a hood release cable...after the new one was installed the first pull it snapped! I installed it after 3 weeks after I received it...I filed a claim and a week later the new one at my front door ... At first they were asking me to return shipping but I went back and said I wasn't going to pay shipping back and they sent a link for shipping back...
  13. Just mainly the overdrive option... If your staying stock height and tires overdrive will help out a lot for fuel economy if you have the 4.10 rear axle... You may have the 3.55 gear ratio axle...some say it's decent some say they don't notice the difference...
  14. Irrc these liberties used the ax15 trans...you may have been just lucky enough...
  15. The Dakotas may have a 8.25 axle...you can use the rear leafs for an add a leaf...or use for a bastard pack... The explorer you can use the rear axle for that 8.8... And the Durango is for the steering box...that's just about it that I can think of that's useful...lol
  16. No there must be a power wire grounding out somewhere...
  17. Man at least you get a choice of the 2 best axle options...id go for the amc 20 for the 4.10 gears... I picked mine up from the Jy for $140... But for a 5speed on stock tires 3.55 is always better than 3.07s...
  18. http://comancheclub.com/topic/42106-swapping-in-power-windows/ This is one I found by far Edit: here's another one http://comancheclub.com/topic/18469-swapping-to-97-doors-here's-the-wiring/
  19. True...I don't mind it Just threw my mix in the pile... Aslong as mine doesn't hurt me from dd duties and off-road weekend warrior duties... I'm good...
  20. I've had this on my mj and 2 xjs... idk why...even with fresh suspension But it's most common with jeeps I guess...
  21. Iirc there was a write up with one of the members that did the 97+ Door swap and rewired for power windows
