  1. I need the engine mount brackets off your 2.5, will you sell them to me?
  2. Remove the bolts, turn the back where you want it, reinstall the bolts.
  3. Yes, it has AC. I reclocked the alt.
  4. Mine if for a '86 Caprice. 105 amp
  5. If your front end on your MJ is worn out.....27 years old........200K miles........ and you can get a complete front end from the 80K miles XJ- D30, steering sector, UCA and LCAs, track bar and MOUNT........etc...... for $200? Yep, I consider that an upgrade. Getting another 80K to 100K miles for $200??????? you bet.
  6. I'm not reading this thread....... No, won't' last.
  7. My mother has the Liberty and I measured the rear a couple of years ago when I did the brakes on it. I dismissed it immediately as it was a couple of inches wider. Who knows? maybe I was stoned that day.......
  8. It's wider also........don't remember how much wider....
  9. Mine came today.....>MEGA happy :) http://www.ebay.com/itm/2-Jeep-Wrangler-TJ-Cherokee-Wheel-Spacers-1-25-Hub-Centric-5x4-5-to-5x4-5-/271708857585?vxp=mtr
  10. Please visit my page and tell me if your baffles are the same or different, bottom of page, last three pics- http://comancheclub.com/topic/44902-po-boys-88/?p=462969

  12. The nuts are in the frame/chassis, the stud will thread out. Worst case, snap it, grind it flush, drill it, tap it, new ASE stud.
  13. Same rockers on my 2.5 and the baffles remain. How about a pic of the inside of the VC? and show why there is a clearance problem?
  14. That was the line if thinking I was trying to direct you to in your thread. You can find a late year D30- 97-99- with low miles in good condition for say $150....this is a direct swap, no other costs unless you want to replace TREs or other parts to new. Then at a later time when you have the money- Regear the D44 to match the front. You may have a total of $600-700 invested in axles that will then get you down the road another trouble free 80K miles.
  15. Study this- http://www.billavista.com/Tech/Articles/Driveshaft_Bible/index.html
  16. What I figured out- When you order a TB from rockauto or the auto parts stores they list the TB for '84-'01 XJs. You will see here- http://www.quadratec.com/products/56013_01.htm they list separate TBs for '84-'90 and '91-'01. I'm wondering if the taper has changed at '91 and if the parts supplies are selling the '91+ as a fit for all years? I went yesterday to the PnP and got a good clean chassis mount off a '98 and installed one of my old TBs on my truck....no movement. I'm left to conclude that the newer TBs have worn out my old mount as the tapers do not match.
  17. It's still hanging on the back of my truck.....if you can see it well enough. Image Not Found
  18. The bolts are 3/8 by 1 1/4" long. Grade 5 is fine and you can get them anywhere. I used bolts not studs, matters not. The two plates that make up the joint at the cat- http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/p/omix-ada-pipe-front-exhaust-2.5l-xj-84-8-17613.03/10177625-p?cm_mmc=ACQ-_-Google-_-GPLA-_-10177625&ci_src=17588969&ci_sku=10177625&ci_gpa=pla&ci_kw=&iv_=__iv_p_1_g_12425515822_x_pla_y_6201684_f_online_o_10177625_z_US_i_en_j_71042598142_s__n_g_t__d_c_v__vi__&gclid=Cj0KEQiA5K-kBRDZ9r71gOvlxOMBEiQAwkK52KV8zv-8PKO0pEkfVxPK0b4PwaPP7BKj_RZbBbJaXiEaAk7z8P8HAQ#utm_source=acq&utm_medium=google&utm_campaign=gpla&utm_content=10177625 and the factory cat will have it's plate. http://www.nextdayauto.com/1986-jeep-cherokee-epa-compliant-catalytic-converter-l4-25-bosal-w0133-1924443.html Or........ With 2 onces of imagination........get two 1/4" pieces of plate, use the gasket to mark for the five holes and make up your own plates to take to the exhaust shop. Your choice of direction.
  19. I have a good rear one if you are interested.........$15 plus shipping.......that includes the hassle of customs paperwork....lol
  20. OP- in light of your last post you can disregard my post above.....however, my point stands.
  21. OP- you got a problem, how are you going to fix it? that is the only question to be answer here. If I were you....maybe you missed the point.....I'd find a good clean well cared for 97-00 D30, low miles, and swap it out. Buy new TREs. Get your alignment solved. Leave your DS out for the time being. When you have the funds and the time pay a shop to swap out the 3.07 gears from your current D30. Whatever happened to your current D30......bent...spun axle tube.......dumbasses at some shop.....whatever........IT IS NOT WORTH THE MONEY YOU WILL PUT INTO A 27 YEAR OLD AXLE! Especially not a CAD axle........It's a POS to start with. New BJs will run you $50 each plus installation.......$400 or so........>WHY???????? You can think your way through this or not.......YOUR choice.
  22. The idiots are not smart enough to remove the plow and sell it separate.
  23. In 1986 I was 19, married, kid on the way, GED. Both the AF and Marines told me they did not want me.
  24. I have a lead on a factory receiver if you are still interested. It's in excellent condition, not damaged and truck has not been hit. Typical surface rust as one might expect. $250 plus shipping. Let me know by tomorrow night, I will remove it Sunday if you want it. jeepmurphy@gmail.com
