  1. Have you checked with a mechanical gauge?
  2. At 500 miles it's now broke in. Has he changed the oil yet? with what? I'd go with a straight 40 and a Pure1 filter before you go changing bearings.

  5. I replaced the front axle ujoints with Federals when I did my swap, 3 years ago. They did not last 1.5 years. Now the replacements are going out AGAIN!!!!! '94 XJ D30. What CV shafts can I get to replace the ujoints. If you guys don't' recommend the CVs.......what is a good ujoint? I'm assuming Spicer is my best bet...true? Thanks
  6. Get rid of the C101 and I promise you it will run better yet.
  7. Lol, yep Kickinmule, I take that wire to another hot wire and bypass it so I can have it on whenever . I don't plan on watching TV in drive but someone on passenger side might want too. Check, that wire may be a ground wire, NOT hot wire.
  8. Yes, replace the switch.
  9. Please post pics of the head unit, I have looked at that one myself and wondered how it would fit.
  10. Now you see it- Image Not Found Now you don't- Image Not Found Image Not Found I have no idea what was not making contact through the C101 but eliminating it made a HUGE difference, the engine smoothed out and is running much stronger. It will get a proper wrap and new loom when the engine is pulled.

  12. Did you test it for crank case pressure?
  13. What I do know......... For tractor guys who home build articulating tractors...... They take a rear dif and FLIP the carrier from one side of the housing to the other side, revering the rotation of the axles. Now they have two rear difs opposing each other, one for the front and one at the rear. I have no idea if that is possible with auto difs..........doubtful, but that is what I was referring to. Find the front dif you want to use and take it to a drive line fab shop and have them build you one for $3K. Or buy a crate D44 for $2K

  16. New aftermarket are JUNK. It's a stupid design anyway.
  17. There are solutions.......itty bitty tires ain't one of them.
  18. No need to be desperate. It won't, and you will.
  19. You would have to be able to flip the carrier.
  20. I would not be afraid to trim 1/8th off the cable.
  21. I'd rather travel further and install an engine that deal with rust. http://charlotte.craigslist.org/cto/4898345839.html
