  1. I've got some many rattles............ Guess I figure that rattles mean the $#!& hasn't fallen off yet......lol
  2. I have not installed them yet, I expect some vibration. I have replaced the engine mount and trans mounts and still the torque rattles the tail pipe against the x-member............Anchor brand. BDs will solve that problem.

  4. Ahhhh...........Brown Dogs and that will become meaningless..........wait........it is meaningless. Spend your $90 elsewhere.
  5. Very clean. Where'd you get the + - terminal at? and the relays?
  6. Get your engine in and take the truck to a muffler shop and they'll make you one for $90.
  7. The pump was likely to fail anyway, the new belt and new amount of tension did it in.
  8. What's a "decent enough price on the entire axle"?
  9. You're going to have to take it apart.......no way around it.
  10. Fuel line is rotten and split in two, gas is being pumped back into the tank.
  11. clogged pick up screen............or.........motor runs but does not pump.
  12. Yeah, he's looking for the entire assembly.......pump and sender. Ain't gonna happen. Edit: sorry, didn't realize it got moved to classified.

  16. Yes, ground will trigger also, my Efan is operated through the temp switch which is a ground switch. However, the ground to your brights is probably always grounded.
  17. I swapped them out with the same as OReily warrantied them.......no cost. I'll upgrade my axles to the larger joints next time around. Had both swapped in 1.5 hours.....I'm an old pro now :P
  18. STRONGLY recommend! Image Not Found
  19. You need to do the headlight harness, if you have not already. The wire from the headlight switch THEN becomes a trigger wire to the aux light relay. You will THEN have two completely different light circuits operated by the brights switch on the steering column that are independent of each other but operated by one switch. One to the headlights and one circuit to the aux lights, neither are receiving power from the headlight circuit itself. Tap into the brights wire at the headlight and run that to the trigger of the relay.
  20. What do you mean by dropping the tail shaft? Do you mean drop the transmission/transfer case? Will dropping that assembly cause the engine to rock backward on its mounts, allowing the top bolts to be more easily accessed from beneath?
  21. Drop the tail shaft on the trans and you can get to the top bolts. Impacts are your friend. I'll be swapping mine soon and I will drop the trans first, much easier when alone.
  22. '92 chrome on an '88.....takes a bit of ingenuity. Image Not Found
  23. White out with high end tire.....not some cheap $#!& tire that says Baja on the wall. I was looking at Grabber Red Letters until I realized they don't make a 32........to bad for them cause I'm in the market for new tires too.
