  1. The bumper brackets are in between the frame and hitch brackets. I recall trying to flip the bumper brackets to opposite side, but there were still large sections of the "L" that needed to be trimmed, I just cut the whole "L" off. Carpenters rule: measure twice, cut once. My rule: just cut, don't measure.
  2. Sounds like a keeper. Congrats! She will grow up fast. My 15 YO daughter seems like only yesterday she was little. I mean little - 4 lbs 4 oz.
  3. Same thing happened to me. I left my truck at my office over night. Came back the next morning to find a note under the wiper. It asked me to call a number if I was ever going to sell it. (I have never called the number.)
  4. The 87 is pre-OBD1. There is a write up in the DIY section on putting a HO (91+) into a Renix (87 - 90).
  5. Got a notification late last night. Thank Alexia.
  6. Thx. I thought I may have done something (by doing nothing).
  7. Something happened about a week ago. I stopped getting notifications when others reply to topics. I don't know if I did something or there was an updated here. What do I need to do?
  8. Stuck at work...until April 18 (tax day in the US)
  9. Which parts are you looking for? Body parts are probably best to search JY. I have found RockAuto to have many parts at good prices.
  10. Do my eyes deceive me, or do you have passenger side tcase? Perhaps a D300.
  11. Not filled it up properly. Put in wrong grade oil.
  12. Judging from the symptoms you described, you probably mistreat your pets. ;) ;) (just kidding)
  13. My 2ยข. I specifically purchased an aftermarket from Worst Buy that does not have a cassette or CD. It is bluetooth and iPod/iPhone ready. I was tired of cass and CD all over the interior. ...but is looks nice. :clapping:
  14. If you are in/near Waynesboro PA (south central PA close to MD) this rear axle is for sale. https://frederick.craigslist.org/pts/5423857173.html
  15. A friend bought from here www.inlinetube.com for his Suburban. The website lists CJ, XJ and J-series pickups, no MJs listed. I don't know about the quality. My friend recommended them. Try contacting them to see if they have/can get MJ brake lines.
  16. BUMP! Happened again today. I was in the post office. The clerk at the counter could see my truck outside. She asked if that was my truck. I told her it is. She asked: Did you have that custom built or did you get it like that? I am probably guessing, but I think my truck is older than she is.
  17. Things that are direct swaps: front axle, 4wd trans and tcase, front drive shaft (automatic for automatic. manual trans will be too short.) Be sure to get the tcase shifter and linkage from the donor. Things that will not swap: rear drive shaft. You need to have your existing DS shortened to fit for the added tcase. Others may/will add to this list.
  18. Did you reconnect the CPS? Maybe knock off the wire for the CPS.
  19. I kept the flywheel that was with the BA10 The CPS goes with the flywheel and the engine electronics. It doesn't care about which trans you have. Good to hear you got it lined up.
  20. Where are you? What color interior? (For our neighbours to the north, colour). I have a tan/beige.
  21. Here is a shield for an AX15. Compare the lower right portion to your bell housing. Yours has a flat/straight side. The shield has a more rounded edge to it.
  22. If the bolt pattern does not match up, you may have an AX5 bell housing. Some references http://www.wranglerforum.com/f218/ax-5-vs-ax-15-a-261833.html Look at the 7th post. Also: http://www.fourwheeler.com/how-to/transmission-drivetrain/154-1101-ax5-to-ax15-transmission-swapping/ See this AX15 swap in to a CJ on www.jeep-cj.com second page, post #16 http://www.jeep-cj.com/forums/f2/doing-ax15-yj-booster-swap-4415/index2.html
  23. The 258 and 4.0 are the same engine block. I put the 90 AX15 on an 84 CJ7.
