  1. I was at a JY last year. There were 2 XJs with AX15s. One was had 4WD and an internal slave cylinder; the other was 2wd with an external slave cylinder. I left the yard with a 4wd AX15 and the bell housing for an external slave cylinder. It took some time and work. Be patient and search around.

  3. Junk yard. Any XJ from 84 to at least 96.
  4. I’ll save it for when I want to tell someone to “duck off.”
  5. Man cave... or House of worship. That is the question.
  6. I have a little rubber duck if someone wants it?
  7. So, the other day I stopped at the post office. In the parking lot were two 4 dr. wranglers. I'm in the MJ, of course. The two other Jeep drivers are standing alongside their cars talking. I go inside, get my mail, come out, and get in to my Jeep. One of the other drivers has already gotten in her car. She pulls in to the space next to me, rolls down her window, and says something to me. I had to roll down my window, also. She says to me: "duck, duck, Jeep." I said: "What?" She repeats it: "duck, duck, Jeep." She then tosses to me a small rubber duck. I said thanks, and pulled out. I finally looked it up on the 'net. There is a website for it; you guessed it, it is www.duckduckjeep.com. The idea, as I understood it, is to spend money on stupid, rubber ducks, leave them on Jeeps you spot in parking lots, and can earn points (for what, I don't know. Perhaps to purchase more rubber ducks?). I've known about the "Jeep Wave" for a long time, but this was new to me. Are there others here who were/are as ignorant as me about this new phenomenon? Or, have I just been living under a rock?
  8. I live just south of Carlisle, PA in MD. I would be there for just the day.
  9. Now that I have fixed and exhaust manifold leak, I hope the mileage will improve to ~20. I have been running 14 mpg. The REM was telling me that I was running in open loop with LT fuel trims at 166. I now run in closed loop and LTFT now running 114 (and dropping).
  10. Back in the 80's, I was a parts driver for a Toyota dealership. I had to run parts to repair/body shops and pick up parts from other dealerships. I drove a little, state-bed pickup all around MD-DC-VA. That was when I fell in love with little pickups. When I graduated college, my girlfriend (now wife) bought the MJ new. She drove it for approx. three years until we bought a 91 XJ. Then that became her DD. I drove the MJ as my DD. I fell in love with the MJ/small pickups again. If there was no MJ, I would have probably bought a Ranger, Explorer Sportrac, or one of the smaller Toyota/Nissan pickups. I am not a fan of the "full-size" pickups.
  11. What are you looking for? ECU and/or wiring harness? I have a couple ECU: 87 ECU auto and 89/90 ECU auto. (I have manual ECU, but not for sale.)
  12. As long as the rest of the truck comes with it.

  15. Mount going bad? Look at the trans mount and motor mounts.
  16. Have you considered semaphore or smoke signals? I am not a "prepper," but some are looking to alternatives.
  17. Driving through the neighborhood blasting “Low Rider.”
  18. I will put it on my calendar. The show in 2019 was really good. Lots of CC members. After the show on Saturday, we all went to Kryto's house for a cookout. A good time was had by all.
  19. What?!?! It's just straight down I-70.
  20. There’s a white 99 in mt airy md at an lkq lot. There’s a white 96 at an lkq in jessup md
  21. HIJACK! Why do some clocks tend to run fast? Over several weeks/months the time will get ahead of actual time. Every month or so, I have to reset the time. My radio (after market) does keep accurate time.
  22. I suspect your glass was replaced. My truck rolled of the line in May 87, toward the end of the model year. There are no Chrysler emblems in/on it.
  23. My FIL bought an 88 that had both AMC labels and Chrysler labels. I always laugh at that.
