  1. Thanks. Great build. The earlier style handles don't have the cable integrated into the mechanism.
  2. At least the PO didn't spray paint the fender flares and part of the Comanche badge. Can't say that much about the door handle, lock plate, and B pillar vent cover.
  3. Are the wheel arches the same for SB and LB? Could you/would you cut out the wheel arch? Is the lower, rear section the same profile for both SB and LB?
  4. SB or LB? If LB I could be interested in the passenger side skin.
  5. Yes. 89 1/2 or newer or if a PO swapped an AX15 in place of a BA10. What is your current trans, BTW? Not sure? The BA10 splits in half from front to back, so the case open lengthwise. AX15 splits in circumference around the case.
  6. Was yours originally an AX15? The BA10 was the trans Jeep used from 87 to mid-89. Since yours is an 88, I guessed it was a BA. If you have a 2wd AX15, the crossmember and trans mount should fit.
  7. I don’t think so. are there JY near you? Be on the lookout for an XJ with a manual. It can be 2 or 4 wd.
  8. That one looks abused. It does look like the correct one. the price seems high, though
  9. Jeremy, here is a thread on installing the XJ hand brake. What put a stop to my conversion is the bracket that holds the cable just under the cab-floor. If you find a way to fabricate one, I would be interested in getting one...or perhaps @Krustyballer16 could make one Edit What cable are you going to use from the handle to the splitter?
  10. Yes. I have purchased this: https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=1382128&cc=1180213&jsn=856&_nck=ZExt1ysfqhqWnq%2BEvUNdS3Txyey60IDtnjPWF5UU9J0BWQv7pvqZbkEUk86%2BAYIhteHnM8iYlR4ebKH3uRnjZxcDb0o67mtPZBCV8ZwaYy9iATWCyKzrWw6zMoVZjeRvj6PPTkpMNTx95f9DaD7HdXOK3NBSaOc405yvcWxQAj5x6%2B5Zs%2FXQVizs%2F8emZNwVXMFNavEZjDi2LQQFoWloc8ScKPSEC3HSeLnRHye8icso1SEmYkCR018M%2FE6Awt8A5FYKrr7MGN5%2BFrW4OkIbjLQHeTJACesL%2BmLy9rWOab%2BrYUe3BnQikb6hLuN4yGvtMPhT5EU78RGOUuu2FByiMOzVmuh%2FAlf5 Here is the pilot bushing: https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=221655&cc=1309452&jsn=925&_nck=ZExt1ysfqhqWnq%2BEvUNdS3Txyey60IDtnjPWF5UU9J0BWQv7pvqZbkEUk86%2BAYIhteHnM8iYlR4ebKH3uRnjZxcDb0o67mtPZBCV8ZwaYy9iATWCyKzrWw6zMoVZjeRvj6PPTkpMNTx95f9DaD7HdXOK3NBSaOc405yvcWxQAj5x6%2B5Zs%2FXQVizs%2F8emZNwVXMFNavEZjDi2LQQFoWloc8ScKPSEC3HSeLnRHye8icso1SEmYkCR018M%2FE6Awt8A5FYKrr7MGN5%2BFrW4OkIbjLQHeTJACesL%2BmLy9rWOab%2BrYUe3BnQikb6hLuN4yGvtMPhT5EU78RGOUuu2FByiMOzVmuh%2FAlf5
  11. I swapped from a BA10 to an AX15 several years ago. I remember all the parts I needed. Did the tcase come with the shift linkage?
  12. External! Perfect? BTW - judging from the tip, you will need a pilot bearing that would fit 74 CJ5 with a 304" engine.
  13. Since you have the AX15, (I guess it is a 4wd model) you need a transfer case. Make sure it is 23 spline input shaft. An earlier tcase that went with the BA10 has 21 splines and won't fit with the AX15. The flywheel you have will work fine. Do you have the bell housing for the trans? Is it internal or external slave cylinder? That will affect hydraulic system you get. Not sure if the trans is set up for internal or external? Look at the front. Surrounding the input shaft is a plate (bearing retainer). Is the sleeve over the input shaft short (~1") or long (~3"). The longer bearing retainer is for the external slave cylinder. Do you have the proper cross member for the trans? and the trans mounting bracket?

    Beer

Honey usually ferments out 100%. The brewer may have introduced the honey at the end of fermentation when the yeast have gone dormant or at canning. That is probably why the honey comes through.
  15. I took these years ago in a 93 XJ. Hope they help. (I have not switched to the hand brake yet.)

    Beer

Gogmorgo, I really like a good IPA. Not the over-the-top west coast or the latest New England/hazy IPA, but a nice English IPA. Sadly, the craft beer industry changes faster than the weather. From the west coasts, to NEIPA, to sours, to the latest fad - fruit - beers. I have seen some small brewers making breakfast cereal beers. No thank you! I like to brew "traditional styles" for my wife and me: stouts, porters, pilsners, bocks, and English IPAs. Call me olde fashion. Thank you, very much.
  20. I got two sets off of XJs in JY. One set black and one chrome.
  21. How old is your battery?
  22. Must be COVID. Everyone else blames COVID for everything.
