  9. short block is just that. A short block with no trimmings. No head or belted accessories. Long block comes fully trimmed with head and all belted accessories.

  17. I'm running Khumo 31x10.5 on those exact rims on a stock XJ. Anything bigger and Id be going for a larger rim, these tires don't rub the CA's and flex well

  19. your rev limiter will be the crankshaft letting itself loose at 4900rpm as for me, my rev limiter is the gentle roar of a 4lo NP231 behind 2nd gear of my 5spd behind my 4-uh-oh (thanks to Beaterjeep for the new nickname) 21-2200 is my limit, low's got enough grunt to walk me up anything in my path. Stock.
  20. a 21 spline NP242 is a RARE animal as 87 was te only year for them. Most were 23 spline.
  21. I think thats the MJ that Sinnavaed had for sale on here and Jeepkings. Its an original 2.5/TF904 truck IF thats the right truck, if its a different one, then I'm wrong. But still, it wouldn't have had a 4.0

  24. I agree TNT. The tech on Naxja is like that of a leather boot. Nothing but the same ol'e same ol'e with nary a look towards suggestions. A 'user' suggested taking all of the tidbits that everyone pops up and asks info for and compile it into a thread of stickies. I do believe a mod told him to stuffit and if he doesnt wanna pay for a membership, he take his suggestions to another board. Pirate, even though I'm not a member, its still interesting, thats for sure. I'm going to join sooner or later, but at this point in time, I just read it and see no real area for my input, hence I'm not wasting money joining. Red star be damned, I can still lurk around for tech I may need.
