  1. Naxja as well as Pirate are read-only sites for me. Sorta. Naxja's OEM Tech area gets the odd post from me. I stick on here and IFSJA.org. waaayyy better sites, great admins, great users too.
  2. the MJ doesnt have a nose, so scented candles are a waste of parts money.
  3. how does trading him a brain and some good eyeballs.
  4. 3 days ago 3 people died while waiting to see the ER docs at a Toronto Hospital. You think its bad in the US, its bad all over. For me to get in and have my hand checked out when I slopped an axle on it, 7 hours. For my girlfriend to get checked out after being kicked in the ribs. 9 hours. Yeah we may not pay for our healthcare up front, but our taxes pay for every welfare s*tknocker that wants to slum it up in Ontario Subsidised Housing, deal dope and generally bring down the worth and beauty of our tiny little town of less than 50,000. I'm 18, working for $10 as customer care for T-Mobile, I'm saving for Broadcast Engineering at Loyalist College, which resides in my town, allowing me to live at home while I attend. I work downtown, near the Social Assistance offce. I see fatass women that make my jeep look like Marlyn Monroe, dragging 3, 4, sometimes 5 screaming kids dressed in the latest from St VincentD'Paul (a charity style clothig shop) These people live off the system for EVERYTHING. Hell, I watched someone load a 42" plasma TV onto a CITY BUS. I knew the family and know that the dad is pulling a scheme to stay on the dole because he doesn't want to flip-burgers at McDonald's for min-wage because he felt the need to drop-out of highschool and knock up 3 chicks 'cause it made him feel big. I'm sick of people who live off the system I contribute to. F*ck Ive been paying taxes since I was 12 delivering newspapers. Time for some shotgun reform. I'm GLAD Ontario mandates that you must finish your highschool education before you can renew your drivers lic. I graduated in 4 years, when I entered Gr 12 I was short a credit to graduate, I pulled my weight around and got my stuff. I ended up with 72% overall average. now I'm all mad. :hateputers:
  5. Our local ground-dweller says that we've got about 6 weeks left before she's all clear and well.
  6. nothing wrong with a maple-flavoured Ram.
  7. you've got 2. Dig a scrambler and you're set. badaboom-bada-jeepinstein
  8. CJ-4's are another, much like the Agrijeeps. 327 Waggies Dauntless v6 CJ-5's I know where one of each sits...... The waggy the guy uses to drag logs out of his timber to slice into firewood. He won't sell it, I offered to buy him another truck to trade..... The Dauntless CJ-5, I know of the guy is about 80 and he uses it to plow snow in the winter, he just lets it sit the rest of the year.... The same guy has the plow and the sickle bar mower from an AgriJeep sitting there. I've tried SEVERAL times to buy even the implements from him. His son swears that when Dad finally buys it, he's selling me all the Jeep stuff.... man, sweet stash. a1awind, it would have the chrome caps if it was a tuxedo park model. just steelies like on a Willys truck came on cj-5's.
  9. thats a Piece dude. '66 CJ-5 with the Dauntless 6 was the top-of-the-line. Rollbars came in 1967 with the Renegade I II pacakges. Also, the Buick was the biggest engine till 1973, but the best ones are the odd-fire 225's out of anything '66-68 Plus, its got a tilt column and looks like provisions for a column auto, CJ-5's didnt get auto till1974 with the 4" extension whenAMC took over
  10. youre just having a bad day. I tore the brakes apart on the XJ lastnight and found NOTHING connected on one side.
  11. 'cept the one that I saw in the junkyard here last month.....FF D60 rear  ;) Jeff swapped then, FF D60 was J-20 material only haha.
  12. ontario is the same way. tags on the rear plates for vans SUV's and cars with blue letters and 7 digits/letters. Trucks and commercial vans are black letters/numbers with 6 digits and tags on the front.
  13. buyit buyit buyit a rust free Honcho stepside is worth its weight, seriously, you don't find them or townside Honcho's all that much and normally they are rusted to sheet. Mjeff, all Honcho's were j-10's so 360/T-18/D20 with 3.31's in a front 44 and a rear 44. UNTIL 1979 then it was 360/T-176/NP208 with 3.31's in a front 44 thats driverside drop and a rear AMC20. Optional from 1977 when the first honcho came out you could get a 401/TH400/Qt with 2.98's in 44's. or 360 with stick or auto or the 258 with TH400 till 1979 with a q/t and 1980+ is TF727 as a auto trans and they only had the NP208 as the transcase
  14. I don't see that it correlates with intelligence. I know LOTS of people that are intelligent, just they drive like a drunken ape. I drive with common sense, don't follow close, watch other people more than watch myself. My dad is the same way, sort of. He used to freak me out by driving with his knee while blowing his nose, I HATED that, 'specially with his 1974 Ram 100. 318/TF727 with a Chryco 9.25 rear, longbed 2wd. Had 'moonwalker's syndrome' (slightly bad hubs and bearings) so it liked to wobble at speed. My girlfriend likes to aim for the nearest fencepost and hope for the best
  15. give'r 90 thats part of Jeeping in general, I just took 3 nights to redo the floor in my XJ front to back (incl cargo area) When I did my manche's floor, my dad and I just used 22ga patches and some silicone to seal it with a metric-tonne of self-tapping screws. It held up fine. If you want to CUT out the rough spots, go for it, but make sure you know whats on the other side. IMO just put patches over it, and if you're worried, do the entire floor with patches.
  16. what I want to do is swap to the stacked headlight style waggy grille but retain the single dual-beam lights BUT where the turnsignals are now, retrofit some driving lights or fogs, and use the turnsignals that are inside the grille.
  17. your welcome I know this sounds dumb but Ive got a good 4.0 rad here, came out of the jy, looks fairly decent, I was keeping it as a spare but if you pay for the ride, you can have it.
  18. Now that's a whole different story...don't get old... Lets just say, preparation H is a GOOD friend of mine!! ;) CW :shake: thanks for ruining my dreams for the night *CW's bedroom* Ooooh OOhhhh OOOOOHHH outsider- 'you got a girl in there? CW- Nooo, I'm just sitting down. lol, I kid. My old man used to kill Prep-H bottles in a week, t'wasnt fun, even worse was when he popped them with vice grips.
  19. yeee-ouch man. does it hurt to sit down still?
  20. see, I could only be so lucky haha. There are days when Pat just wants to outright kill me. 'specially when I laughed at him getting tagged in the bag with an LCA
  21. y'see... there's a half-interesting story behind the whole 'jeeps suck' my MJ tried to kill her a few times. Once when I ramped up a large rock, the pass.door popped open and she almost popped out. second time was while turning a corner with ruts in it, the truck got wedged and almost flopped onto the pass.side third time the e-brake failed to hold and it almost ran her over. But, the MJ is now a memory and the new heep, the XJ, is a little nicer, her side of it was rusted less than my side.
  22. she'll be 19 in 3 weeks hahaha, so enjoy :D
  23. and when you're finished, start stroking that motor : :brows:
  24. 4-oh's are awesome suckers. ever seen a XJ with 37's and 3.55's do a 4wheel burnout? :D 500,000 + KM's on the 4.0 and it still slung those 37's like nothing.
