  1. :agree: Last night Katelyn and I started re-watching all the Star Wars movies. We are looking forward to VII
  2. Not true. Still many things different that are not noticeable to the naked eye. One major is the roof line. but yes the doors will still work, True, but how many people are going to swap a roof? that requires, cutting, grinding, and welding. the Seats or parking break the other hand are items that can be removed easily but mods are required for use between the two platforms. Hunting for parts, 4 door Cherokees are a safe bet from the dash forward. Its came up plenty before when people find the LUND visors off of cherokees and want to put them on comanches. I keep forgetting our trucks had those visors,

  4. Completely Agree. there is a high school across from my office, half the trucks are squatted, pointlessly lifted, and unreasonably loud... I hate it. makes the truck less usefull if you need a ladder to get in the bed or need a 12 inch hitch drop
  5. i don't think it was mentioned on this thread but apparently the last owner discarded the cat, or did a very good job making it invisible. but we did think that as well
  6. thats awesome, and saved for later
  7. What's the problem? It seems to run fine till the engine warms up, after that it starts to stumble and eventually stall. We replaced the MAP, O2 sensors, fuel pump and filter, ECU, ignition coil, Spark Plugs, spark plug wires, Dizzy cap and rotor, under hood relays. We did a ground refresh and upgrade. Next up we are going to replace the CPS. I haven't really had time to help him with it any, thus why he finally has his own Comanche Club account :thwak:
  8. Seems like they might be implying something..
  9. Same here
  10. I have a gray mini console (top picture) tonight I'll try to post a pic. I also have shifter bezels for the 231 and 242 TCs. I don't recall the mounting brackets, I thought they where spot welded to the transmission tunnel. PM me if you are interested.

  12. Scrolling through facebook and i came across this Video. It is very clever for sure, but i can't imagine the stresses caused on the frame. Sorry i forgot how to embed the video
  13. There is a relay that gives power to the E Fan, it is the same type of relay that is used for the Fuel Pump, AC, so on. to test for function any of those relays can be swapped with another.
  14. Did you by any chance swap the axle as well? i thing the D44 and 8.25 yoke stick out about an inch more than the D-35... When i swapped from BA10-5 to AX 15 the drive shaft was fine. but i had to shorten it when i swapped from D-35 to D-44 rear axle.
  15. Introducing Black89Comanche, my younger brother :fool:
  16. I havent had any oil related issues with the Breather filter.. the only issue i had was mounting it, i just ended up using duck tape....
  17. I have the current spintires game with steam, i bought it when i released. and had played around with the Beta/Demo. It is a better simulation than Rigs Of Rods (Free and heavily modable) both are fun but spintires looks way better with better persistant terrain efects
  18. Under the dash directly below the steering column there should be a black box with Velcro on it. that is the intermittent control box. it is possible to by pass by connecting the plugs directly and excluding the wiper module. Check to see if it is still there, its possible it was overlooked when you swapped steering columns. those boxes are also temperamental i have 6 that don't work.... 'Borrowed' from another site
  19. I have no actual experience with those engines, transmissions, or transfer-cases, but from what i have gathered..... :typing: :crossfingers: the 2.8 v6 is unreliable and has a bolt in swap with a later camaro (3.4L ?) the AX5 has a good rep the NP207 can be replaced with a NP231
  20. my brother installed a new fuel pump on his MJ, it was not the bosh but it require modification of the pump assemble to make fit.
