  2. Smitty, does your steering wheel vibrate more than usual when your at a light in gear? And does your exhaust sound like it has a leak in it? And did you say it doesn't make the sound in neutral?
  3. Understand. I knew there was a overiding reason why I figure he's the best qualified candidate. :deal: Ok, Horny, put down the High-Life. I think Wahoo is talking about John McClain, super hero of the DieHard movies, portrayed by Mr Bruce Willis, Not the other balding guy, republican candidate running for presidente of the U.S. of A. :D
  4. A couple bussiness days for the injectors. He's pretty quick.

  9. Yo, T-man, what's the good news? And to be frank, have you tried marijuana for the pain. I'm curious because I did and I actually felt worse being high as a kite. The only thing that's ever helped me has been Perkisets. I have no idea how to spell that. Sorry. Hey good luck man!
  10. Absolutely man. That's what Martin Luther King woulda done. I'm gald there's still peacefull people in this world.
  11. I'm sorry to hear about the way the owner treated you man. Seems like just another case of nookie depravation to me. May GAWD have mercy on his soul. And if ya want for $500 or a decent lift kit and an adress we can fix his attitude problem. Just kidding.
  12. Sorry to hi-joke your thread Ben. Hey J, way is actually spelled guey. Yoo no what I mean ese. I didn't want any of those East LA cholos reading this post and making fun of us for incorrect spelling and gramatical errors. Us homeys gotta stick toogether men. :rotf:
  13. :agree: :agree: Great source for dealer parts. Man, we are such brown nosers :D
  14. Careful with that Way, brake clearer works good and will take off more then just grime, but paint, and might melt some plastics and rubbers..(not the prevention kind,, I know you all to well :D ) Another thing is thats stuff is very flammable, so don't use it when your engine is running, and disco your batt.. just to be on the safe side... Exactly what JT said, I know, that's why I put a disclaimer on the bottom. It'll melt the rubber and plastic too. Just keep it all covered up. Only use it on the metal. You know what, better yet. Don't even use it. Get some degreaser, a tooth brush and a couple old rags you lazy @$$ :rotfl2:
  15. Check LEAD NOT FOLLOW's bulid thread. He used XJ bumper brackets to mount them inside the side of his bed. It looks good.
  16. Ben, change the valve cover gasket. It's cheap, (make sure you get a good gasket) I think i read a lot of people have used cork and RTV, don't quote me though. Either search or ask what they used. I bet ya 75% of your problems go away just doing that. My truck also leaks a little oil from the cap. Don't know why. I've tried three differnt caps, all new. I guess the hole just got bigger over time. Maybe we could find a cap with a thicker seal or maybe it's just time to put a new valve cover on. Anyway, change the gasket and clean the area real well with a degreaser. I used brake cleaner when the engine was hot cuz the grime just melts away and evaporates with the heat. Don't believe the rear main seal leak yet. Four differnt mechanics told me mine needed replaced and it ended up being that oil was leaking right outta the back of the valve cover gasket, dripping down the engine, hitting my downpipe, causing a mess, and that smoke your describing. Once I cleaned it up really well back there and kept wiping it off all of a sudden my "rear main seal leak" went away. Good luck. Ps. How much oil are you losing? PSS. Don't use the brake cleaner idea unless you ask a profesional first. I don't know if it's safe. I just use it cuz I hate scrubbing and I have no patience.
  17. Whatever happened to that one guy on here that had the roof chopped off his?

THAt's it! my life is over .I"M JUMPING OFF my por.... crap. I think I twisted my ankle. DOES anyone know what will fix this? My ankle I mean.
  19. I agree times one thousand four hundred thirty two!
  20. Ty in the engine bay on the fire wall, inbetween the two connecters there's a bolt. I can'tremember the size, but you need a deep socket, a universal pivoting joint and an extension to make your life easy. The two sides (inside and out ) will seperate. Then there's two screws caddycorner to each other that you undo and both sides will pop out. Good luck
  21. I really like the bar B-boy. The only thing I would change if it were on my truck would be to take the two bars that go toward the back of the cab and somehow cut and reweld them so they would go toward the side of the bed more or get bolted to the tops of wheel wells. And only because I constantly haul crap in mine and I think that set-up would make me lose a lot of space. Besides that, looks great and good luck :D
  22. Man , I love those push bars. I'm so coppying you guys and getting one soon. Gongrats on gettin back on the road Pat.
  23. First go with the KBB blue book value. Then forget what he's done externally to the truck since you don't like it anyway and it means crap to you. Next check his mechanical records, either homebrewed or done by a "professional" . Once we see all this and pics we can give you a better idea on price. Ask how old the RE lift kit is and ask for receipts. If it's newer (less than a year old) I'd say that bumps the price up $500. Older and just fugettaboutit. Don't let him add money for the rims and bumpers since your gonna change em anyway. Let's see some pics and what mileage he's got.
  24. Good eye Maddzzy. Right, now somebody buy Jeepco a plane ticket and have him fly out there and haggle the price down to $2.37. Eagle got it. LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, WE HAVE ANOTHER IDIOT! :D
  25. Well if that your cherokee in your avatar I'm sure you already know about any mechanical problems jeeps can have. Then if you have time, start at the latest tech thread and read backwards to the beginning of 2006. You'll find almost evrything that you need to look out for. Don't laugh, I'm being serious. I did it.
