  2. Check your EGR system? Just a thought. http://comancheclub.com/forums/viewtopi ... highlight=
  3. It works.
  4. Make sure you only use Synthetic bliker fluid. :laughin: Sorry, I just had to.
  5. I like the ghost PIONEER stripes. Congratulations.
  6. I just removed both of my handles without any problems. However, I live in California where our vehicles don't develop much rust. Must just be the condition of the stud. Shoot with PB Blaster, unscrew the nut until you feel resistance, tighten it back up, spray more PB Blaster, and repeat until nut is fully off.
  7. Took my rear bumper in for powder coating today and the guy says "I've been looking of one of these trucks for two years. I looked at one but he wanted 4K and it wasn't in very good shape. My buddy has one set up for rock crawling" so I reached into my wallet and handed him the official Comanche Club business card. Maybe we'll get a new member.
  8. Did you just clean it or replace it?
  9. I love this movie. The book was also great (and short).
  10. Thanks maddzz1, I followed what you wrote and it worked well. First I pulled off the window wipes (fuzzy things along inner and outer of window) then pried off the bottom strip followed by the rear and finally the top/front one. Aahhh, now paint will get everywhere!!!
  11. Just got it out. There was no adhesive on the gasket (rubber trim). There is a groove that the glass sits in and the rest is pressed between the glass and the body. Should be fun putting it back in. Appreciate all the help. Mike
  12. How do I remove the trim around the door windows? I already have the door panels and side mirrors removed. I would like to reuse the pieces so I don't want to "just yank" on them. What order of removal is best? Do I have to remove the vent window (this one's fixed)? I just want to remove all I can before it gets painted. Thanks for the help. Mike
  13. I need to remove the gasket (rubber trim) around my rear window in preparation for paint. It's the original window, will the gasket just pop right out or is it held in by adhesive? I've read posts that it's reusable, does this imply it's not glued in? Thanks.
  14. I would also like a piece of the action (maybe 3)!!!
  15. Power Slider That's the plan right now. I have a auto glass company that said they should be able to get me one. It's just a little pricey. If not I think we may go with a solid window seeing how it will have AC when we're done. Did you ever get the power slider installed? Pictures?
  16. I seem to remember a thread on NAXJA or was it Jeepforum that showed you how to reset the timer. Does anyone have the link or the write-up, I can't find it.
  17. Hey deziped, What color is this on your truck? Where did you get it done? How much did it cost? Thanks.
  18. I had the same issue with my left turn signal, however I didn't notice if some were brighter than others. I changed bulbs and then it was fine.
  19. Thanks for round two got it today!!!
  20. Glad to hear you tracked it down. I HATE electrical problems. :wall:
  21. Hey man, you were looking for a cheap alternative. Yes I have and it works. If it's too cheapo, get the part from the dealer. Jeesh........ Hey hornbrod, your 1300th post and it's an aggravated one
  22. I have a similar type item on my 89 from the local Federated parts store. Seems to work well, I just used hose clamps to secure it. I wouldn't pay $38 for one.

  24. I can e-mail you a PDF of the 1988 MJ electrical manual if it would help. PM with an e-mail address if interested.
  25. Check your EGR valve and transducer while you're at it.
