  1. No problem. It's 100+ degrees here today , can't do much other than check the board and look through manuals. :papers:
  2. This is what I found in the '90 FSM. Hope it helps.
  3. I've had a '90 MJ since it was new. From day 1 it took a couple of turns before it would start. As stated previously, it's just the way they are.
  4. I knew there was a reason I liked you, other than MJs of course.
  5. Just remember this won't have the EGR tube connection bung. If you live in a state that has Smog checks it may be a problem.
  6. Rear of the hood painted body color like you said would look the best in my opinion. By they way, you need chrome bumper pads. ;)
  7. Hey Motion, does the factory front skid plate still work with this receiver? Thanks.
  8. There's a seller on ebay that has (or at least claims to have) a CRL three panel slider for the Comanche. Although a bit pricey it's another option. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... 45455&rd=1
  9. Has anyone purchased these fenders: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NEW-LEFT ... enameZWDVW They're about $75 including shipping, seems like a good price but I'm concerned about the quality. What do you guys think?
  10. Here's a cargo light without switches. http://www.comancheclub.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=9861 Thanks man. But I think i will need the wiring too. I think there is a wire connected to the cargo light that i need to run to that plug Here's the wiring diagrams and what the back of the light looks like. The picture shows the C316 connector as part of the harness and the diagram shows it connecting directly to the light. I have to do this someday when I feel like pulling the interior apart. I can send you a PDF of the '88 MJ Electrical manual if you want, just pm an e-mail address.

  16. Check the hard vacuum line from the vacuum canister (in front bumper, right side), it runs under the battery, two of mine were cracked near that point and they only blew through the defrost vents.
  17. Never thought I'd hear this from you Don.
  18. I fixed mine as you have done but if the cable was badly rusted I was planning on removing the winch housing, opening it up (it looks like it's riveted together??) replacing the cable then bolting the housing back together. I didn’t have to do this since the cable looked good. Good luck
  19. Hey hornbrod, did you ever paint the "JEEP" in your custom steering wheel cap?
  20. It's not that we don't like chrome we just think it belongs on ricers. :D Just yanking your chain. I like the chrome on your MJ.
  21. It's the door key. Oh too slow!!
  22. I know you can of Xylene, that should take the tape residue off without harming the paint.
  23. What?!! My wife and I have five vehicles and all but one are manual. She bought a new car back in '04 and had to special order the manual transmission.
  24. Did you guys catch The Colbert Report? Stephen was sucking down the Bud Limes while espousing their virtues.
  25. Just to be clear, it was changed for the '91 model year (which did start production in '90).
