  1. Received mine also, they'll need some sanding and "flash" removal before painting but they seem pretty stout. Thanks Adam. Does anyone know if the large plate faces the front or back of the seat? Mine are all removed.
  2. Well I've always wanted a 'Cuda but a '70 or '71, I guess I'm getting close.
  3. I'll say the Spartans, only because they're in the state in which our trucks were manufactured and I was at that campus for week back in 1986! Yeah, I don't follow basketball.
  4. I don't think so. The OEM tube bumper had the tubes terminating equally at the license plate.
  5. The manual shifter has a "lock nut" with flat sides, loosen it clockwise, then unscrew the metal piece counterclockwise.
  6. I guess Oklahoma is better than the Middle East ;) Glad she's safe and home.
  7. There was an XJ with a black interior, looked fair but I wasn't really paying attention to XJs.
  8. At the north San Jose Pick-N-Pull. They have two '88 MJs pretty well picked/thrashed, and about half a dozen XJs.
  9. No, not just you, that's my thought exactly.
  10. ...at the JY today from an '86 XJ. In great shape, no rust, no paint damage, I was very excited. Take a look at the condition of the reflector. I guess it was worth the 130 mile trip.
  11. Make sure the EGR valve and transducer are working properly. http://comancheclub.com/topic/28026-egr-valve-vacuum-issues/?fromsearch=1
  12. This should have the wiring diagram http://comancheclub.com/topic/12083-electrical-manual/?fromsearch=1
  13. Yeah, but it will also make pressing wheel bearing races a snap, among other things. Remember I have three of these beasts to keep on the road and it was only $150 with the March coupon! Plus it's another tool.
  14. You guys were right on the money, the front u joint was AFU. Two of the caps were dry as a bone, cracked and missing ALL their needle bearings. I bought the Harbor Freight 20 ton press for $150, made pressing them out/in a piece of cake! Thanks for the help.
  15. You lucky dog!
  16. I made one out of hardboard, attached L-brackets on the back side to fasten to the floor (countersinking the bolt heads on the front) and covered it with black leather looking vinyl with contact cement. I have the black vinyl floor covering instead of carpet so it matches really well. Here are some pictures, not really good pics because the lack of contrast.
  17. '70-'74 Plymouth 'Cudas. Currently 627 different ones from 1/10 to 1/140 scale, here's some of them.
  18. Welcome, the folks on this board are very helpful. Now get out there and enjoy the snow!
  19. Tranny and engine mounts are new (had them and decided to replace after 25 years). I'll check the U-joints for play. Thanks.
  20. Hope you guys can point me in the direction to solve this issue. It's a '90, 4.0L, AX-15, 2WD. When I'm driving and lift off the accelerator, the MJ starts vibrating. Even if I throw it into neutral the vibration is there. It only happens when I'm completely off the accelerator, any load on the engine and it goes away. I don't feel it in the steering wheel (just the seat of my pants) or while not moving. All help is appreciated.
  21. You can loosen and rotate it. I just did this yesterday to get it out of the way to remove the engine mount bolt. Didn't have the O-rings so I just loosened it enough to rotate it out of the way, got my new mount in and rotated it back into place and tightened it. I has not leaked yet but I'll be getting a set of the O-rings just in case.
  22. The knee panel speakers are ~2.5" tweeters set in these brackets:
  23. Check your EGR http://comancheclub.com/topic/38225-egr-solenoid-renix/?fromsearch=1
  24. Pics of the front and back.
  25. Yes, that plate was used in the MJ version.
