Very nice, do you plan to put the emblems and Laredo molding back on? You should get the correct vacuum line harnesses to complete the originality. With all those options I'm surprised it does not have the tach.

Turn your diagnostic connector around so the wire naturally exits to the back. It easily pops out of the bracket and can be rotated 180°.

What is the two digit code on the ID plate in the engine compartment in location (1)? That is the paint code on an 87. I think yours was champagne metallic, if you get the code I can confirm.

Welcome to CC. Hey, it's your truck, you can do what you want with it, no (or little) judging here, it's great to see you're tackling all that rust. Post the VIN in the '92 registry and someone will get you a build sheet.
