  1. Okay, NOW it's mine. One less thing missing from my collections!
  2. If it's squealing at full lock, that means the pump is still turning and loading up. It also means you should probably tension the serpentine belt, because the squealing is usually the belt slipping under load.
  3. Speed-dependent vibration is definitely not motor mounts. You'd need to describe the vibration more, but vibration at higher speeds is usually a worn out or damaged track bar. Could also be damaged steering ball joints. Is your truck lifted? If it constantly gets worse as your speed increases, I would expect a damaged or off-balance wheel. Generally u-joints vibrate worse at lower speeds, but I wouldn't rule that out either. You're going to need to get under the truck and visually inspect things before you throw more parts at it.
  4. The truck wouldn't start with a non-Renix flexplate or flywheel in a Renix truck. The CPS wouldn't get the right signal.
  5. This is the worst kind of problem.
  6. Does it only happen when the blower motor is on? Because I had an issue that sounded exactly like this before, and it was a piece of plastic wrapper that got caught in the AC ducts and was whistling lol
  7. No. A 4x4 transmission has a different tailcone and a different output shaft.
  8. I had this exact problem with another vehicle and it was the coil. Run the truck as much as you can and check if the coil is noticably overheating. In my case, the coil got killed by a burnt and shorting plug wire, but that's not much of an issue with the 4.0.
  9. WOW! What the hell landed on that? That's not even worth that much in parts, honestly - everything Comanche-specific seems to be trashed, save for the corners, some trim pieces and maybe the seat.
  10. I used to run an Ebay store, and I vaguely recall there being an option to disable the buy it now button once the auction passes a set reserve. That's probably what happened.
  11. Well dang, it's gone now. I guess I just have to wait a few days.
  12. Ha! That was my experience with my AX15 rebuild. My kit had the wrong #3 synchro (they apparently changed style for two years or so) and it took ordering a bunch of random OMIX parts with no pictures to find the right one haha!
  13. There is no Buy It Now price.
  14. That coin is MINE!
  15. From the Comanche in the New Orleans Pull-a-Part I don't recall there being one on my truck, but I'd have to double-check
  16. That was something I already considered. I planned on rigging up a test bench with an extra fuel rail I have and I'll see if the different one is an outlier.
  17. Ah, yes, thank you Kjell! Seeing the injectors laid out like that is very helpful. You definitely can't find that many Volvo parts here in the States, haha! It appears from the site that, with a few exceptions, the style with a metal tip is listed in cars up to '97 and 98+ has the plastic tip. I would be willing to bet they're both Bosch (since all 6 of mine have a very small stamped Bosch logo) but they refined the design at some point, perhaps to save cost.
  18. Door latch is different.
  19. Does it crank with no start or does it not crank at all?
  20. How do you live like that?
  21. I ordered 6 "OEM Bosch" remanufactured injectors recently. I got 5x of them from a reputable injector source, but they didn't have 6 in stock so I turned to an ebay seller who claimed to have original Bosch remanufactured injectors for sale at an original remanufactured Bosch price. The listing picture looked like the other 5, but when it came in... One of these things is not like the others! It definitely looks worn, as if it was installed on a car, but the fact that it looks significantly different has me concerned. It certainly says 746 on it, but is it an original Bosch injector? If anyone knows how to identify authentic injectors, help would be appreciated.
  22. I guess if you have a good vacuum there, try manually moving the doors connected to the vacuum actuators. I don't remember which is which, but maybe one is seized up or a vacuum line is pinched? If you feel like removing the AC controls and have a vacuum pump, you can test the controls at the connector:
