  1. Just let me know. Mine works but not intermittent, just one speed.
  2. Maybe this will help. My a/c is working.
  3. I need a working 56000428 wiper module for a 89 Comanche
  4. You were correct. I replaced the switch and the truck started right up. Thanks.
  5. Thanks, I will look at that.
  6. I have been working on my on-going problem. Several years ago I started having a problem starting my truck, turn the switch and nothing. I replaced the start relay, no help, so I replaced the the ignition switch, which is a pita. Then it was a sometimes thing, it would start just fine for a while then, no start. I installed a remote start button under the hood, connecting direct to the starter. Most of the time it would start just fine occasionally no start and I would use the remote. I have not been driving the truck much so I start it up occasionally or drive it on a errand and I would have to use the remote to start it. So, last week I decided to do some of the things that I have been putting off. Replaced the valve cover gasket. Got that done and running it to check for leaks and noticed a drip from the thermostat housing, and replaced the gasket. Then, leak checking that and noticed a leak from the power steer pump. Replaced the pump and had to wait a week for a pressure hose. So, now I am back to the start problem. I decided the ignition switch is either bad or not adjusted correctly. I replaced the switch again, no start and none of the instruments work (I pulled the instrument panel for access). When I turn the switch to the start position the radio and the computer screen goes out. I think it must be a wiring problem. Where to start
  7. Saw one several months ago, very rare to so one here. I can't remember when I have seen one before that.
  8. has the speedometer gear been change?
  9. I bought it new in 1989 89 Comanche.pdf
  10. The Wildcat was one of my favorites, it was a 'horse". My only complaint is the distributor being in the front of the engine, just behind the fan. In a hard rain if you ran through a large amount of water the condensation would collect in the distributor and drown it out. I don't know how many times I would get a call from my wife that she was stranded.
  11. same temperature today?

  13. Another nice Georgia Comanche
  14. I replaced my heater core with one from Advance several years ago and I replaced the A/C evaporator at the same time both being 30yrs old. It's a process. I removed the dash, some say just take loose and let it hang while removing the enclosure. First you need to discharge the Freon from the system. Like I said pita, Takes about 1 day to remove & 1 day to reinstall.
  15. Check out team cherokee, they have a rear window defog switch, three prong. They also have door panels and gauges on sale.
  16. Sounds like a find! Awaiting the next installment
  17. Just part of the process. I like the truck, I think it will be a good one, I noticed the UGA receiver cover. If it's a Georgia truck it shouldn't have much rust. Just keep on keeping on.
  18. I used the old expansion valve on my r134 conversion. When I replaced the evaporator later I picked up a o ring kit from Advance Auto. Good luck, that thing is a PIA.
  19. 11 degrees F here this morning. I think the low was 9. It's 9:51 a.m. and up to 13 F. That's pretty cold for middle Georgia. The good news is, it's a bright sunny day today, not windy like yesterday.

    Wisdom Teeth

Had all of them removed, 2 as a teen and 2 in the air force. The last one was impacted and they broke it into with a hammer and chisel, I thought they were kidding when they said they were going to do that. "they were not". The next day I looked like I had been in a fight with a prize fighter. The right side of my jaw was black from where they had me back it up with my fist. I trust you had a better experience.
  21. correction: It was a 99. Well what do you expect from an Old Dude.
  22. We had a 2000 XJ, bought it new, great car, we loved it until it met it's waterloo.
