For peace of mind and just generally feeling better about it. I would knock out the small easy jobs. Then do a long hard one. Then back to the simple repairs. This should help on all fronts. IMHO

You can use the XJ filler hoses and cut them down. I did that on mine.

With the crazy prices of XJ's these days that seems reasonable ish.

I know it definitely cubes apart. The parts catalog shows it apart and I have one somewhere in my parts stach.

Those are factory on the 4.0 from what I have seen. Mine had those on it also. I used a grinder with a thin cut off disc. Just cut through the aluminum band and they will peel off. The hose to the pressure tank is special. Let me try to figure out where I got it.

Amazing transformation!

I started with the Rusty's kit you are looking at. I added stainless extended brake lines and extended stay bar links when I installed it. Since then I have added adjustable uppers, Bilstein shocks and a ton of other stuff in the middle. My build has my install in it.

It's mines twin almost.
