  1. Got one of these too.
  2. Wade isn't coming today from what I understand... See you in a few. http://www.weather.com/outlook/travel/b ... ox_localwx
  3. I don't know what the deal is. I would imagine that they did that so the plate is still restricted somewhat so everybody doesnt go out and get them. Good thing that they restricted the plate in the least likely month of the year that anyone would be out driving their car... You can buy a $30 plate to get you around though in January. Say you are moving and you'd rather drive your car than tow it to your new house... http://www.dot.wisconsin.gov/drivers/ve ... bbyist.htm
  4. Going to church this morning and then heading over. My best guess is somewhere around 11 am :dunno: 414-750-6433 - Brent
  5. Well, we made it over here to Wisconsin just fine. Over Labor Day weekend I took the truck back up to the UP of Michigan to go spend time with friends that are still in college and do some mild wheeling and camping. We went out to one of my favorite places to wheel, the Stampsands of G a y, Mi. Not any pics of the action cause I was driving. We camped about 25' from Lake Superior though, made for a great night! Sometime soon I'm going to start putting a little bit of cash away from each paycheck for the next step in this project. Going to finally get some lockers for it and a beefy steering setup. The truck is now licensed in Wisconsin with a "Hobbyist" plate. This plate ran me $200 but I never need to renew it and it will stay with me for the rest of my life. I can't drive the truck in January and can only haul a total of 500 lbs. Also to be eligible for the plate the vehicle must be at least 20 years old and I must have another primary vehicle, thank goodness I have two MJ's! I'll get pics of the plate when it comes in the mail, it's green and gold. :rotfl2:
  6. I'm looking to get a set of bolt on front tow points for my 2wd MJ for the upcoming winter. I've seen pictures of brackets that some people on here have bought in the past that mount a tow hook under the bumper of the truck on both sides. These are what I am looking for, what are your opinions on the best place to get them at? As Always, Thanks in Advance! - Brent
  7. Thats cool Wade. I didnt even bother coming over cause I would have had no way to get ahold of you other than running into you by chance... Figured I would stay here for the day and just do my own thing. I got alot done.
  8. Welcome, You'll probably find that this one of the friendliest places to hang around. Ask all the questions you want, like Pete said we are here to help. Best of luck with the project(s)!
  9. So what is the plan guys? Who am I meeting where at what time? I can shoot you my number if that helps...
  10. This might help give some ideas: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=12148
  11. :rotfl2: That is a nice truck!
  12. It's looking like I'll be coming to this on Sunday now. Supposed to rain today and Saturday. The car show is Sunday from what I understand. I guess everything starts at noon... why come so early at 8?
  13. Here is my update: He left and didn't leave me the key. :dunno:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=15XlSbGzGTk :dunce: Yah, its an apartment and its cheap. Getting my own house someday when I absolutely need it will be GREAT. For now, this works though and the fridge is nice and cold.
  18. He's already on top of this one. Got ahold of me last night to do just that. I'm looking at heading over his way sometime this weekend to try my hand at it while he is out of town.

As promised: I came off of the supply lines to the sink with T compression fittings and then used a 3/4" to 3/8" reducer to jump up in size. Whenever I use it I have to plug it in and not use my kitchen sink (for obvious electrical hazard reasons). I also run my drain hose to the bathtub cause there ain't no way my sink will take the volume of water in the machine. It takes a while to fill with the small 3/8" supply, but it still beats going into town to do laundry. Works well, done 4 loads in it so far. :clapping:
  20. Spark is spark. "weak" or not... :hmm: I would guess that its so weak cause the battery is about dead and thats all she has to work with. I'm thinking your problems lie elsewhere. Were all of the connectors clean when you pushed them back together. Lots of grease and dirt in your car-port to get in them and "open" a connection... Have you tried pouring gas in the TB and then trying to start it yet? Things like this eliminate functions that the engine is supposed to do and if you can get it to at least fire by doing this then you can track whatever it is down easier.
  21. Let me add that Railroad guys really aren't that creepy... :waving:
  22. Amen. I'm glad that the money ran out finally. What a waste.

I did, pics coming soon, gotta find the cord to download them... just wait till you see how I rigged this thing up. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xP3xiLKJ9_4
  24. I don't like how only one of the upper control arm mounts is used...it was put there at the factory for a reason. Spend your money wisely and you won't regret it: http://claytonoffroad.com/product_info. ... cts_id=114 - 10% off PLUS FREE SHIPPING! Iron Rock's kit may turn out to work or it may be a pile. Clayton or another PROVEN kit WILL work and it will also increase the value of your Jeep if you turn to out to want to sell it later. I'd buy a lifted Jeep with good parts over a lifted Jeep with "Jim-Joe-Bob's Offroad" parts anyday... I can't say enough about how I like the Clayton XJ Long Arm Kit I have. Of course I'm going to suggest them first and foremost every time. GREAT customer service too.
  25. Right now, nothing is set in stone for my weekend. That being said though, I was kinda planning on going up to the Oshkosh area to hang with my buddy up there on Saturday afternoon and then stay through Sunday. The weather is supposed to be rain everyday for the rest of this week and weekend except Friday. So I was kinda planning on hitting this up on Friday after work so I could get there when it was free to the public, nice weather, and have the best shot at getting the good parts... :dunno: Don't let me stop you guys from going Sunday though. Maybe my plans change and I'm able to make it too... Never been to Jefferson, but I would imagine its a little less than an hour from me.
