  1. Probably. Knowing all of this, if I were to change anything, it would be a ceramic coating on the HO manifold on my truck.
  2. Got a hat to go along with the tractor. This will probably replace my American Motors hat as my day to day hat. The AMC hat is nice, but after 2.5 years, it’s showing its age.
  3. True. I should’ve said it, but I was talking about all headers in general there, not just for Jeeps. They always seem to leak, but I’m sure that’s a quality of the product issue too.
  4. Good to know. Part of the reason I’m hesitant to use aftermarket stuff is because headers are known to leak and crack and cause problems.
  5. Good point about the ceramic coating, I had forgotten about that. I don’t think that the wrap is worth it for the rust, like you said. On a race car, maybe, but not on a Jeep.
  6. And you can still see the 0.0 Litre badge over it still. Nicely done.
  7. In an effort to help keep under hood temperatures down, has anyone considered swapping to a cast iron exhaust manifold like the 2000 and 2001 XJs have? Walker makes a pipe that way the two cats right on the manifold don’t have to be used. I would think that the cast manifold should absorb the heat of the exhaust instead of radiating it like the tubing exhaust manifold that our trucks came with. This should help with heat soak and keep engine bay temps down, I’d think. Has anyone tried something similar?
  8. Interesting. For what it’s worth, my pattern ended up fine after testing a few times in a few places.
  9. Interesting, thanks!
  10. I think I’d definitely steer clear of Dorman for gears just because they’re probably the cheapest thing they can get.
  11. Where’d you find that number? I knew of the 952 number being the production of 92s in 92, but never heard the total production figure for 92s.
  12. Not that color I think, but 92s were available in Hunter Green.
  13. This is the first I’ve heard of Yukon stuff being junk. I put Yukon gears in the D30 of my Eagle probably 5,000 miles ago and haven’t had any issues. Most of that is on road, but there is some off road in there. Those parts are all from probably 2022 though.
  14. I’d be down for a set
  15. On one hand, I like the idea of Jeep coming out with a small pickup that they’d call the Comanche. On the other hand, I’m sure they’d butcher it and make it some four door pile with no useful bed or real capability.
  16. Tilt column and the fancy door panels too!
  17. I can’t remember where the fill and drain plugs are, you might want to post that question in tech. An 87-early 89 4.0 5 speed MJ would have the Peugeot.
  18. That could be the case. I found a pic of an 86 2wd with the straight bench. https://www.legendleasing.com/1986-jeep-comanche-x-c-537.htm
  19. Gotcha. For some reason I thought you had the same ones.
  20. Before you build the 8.8 rear, be aware that most of them are 1" narrower than the stock MJ rear. You might want to look into an Explorer Sport Trac rear, they are closer to the same width as the MJ rear.
  21. Nope, our Jeeps just have the one sensor. It’s common for vehicles to have one sensor for each bank if they are a V engine, and/or have at least one sensor before and one after the cat.
