That's interesting. I would have guessed that more full clusters would have been in manual rigs because the tach doesn't matter as much in an auto, but it also makes sense because, in my experience, autos usually have more/better options.
The motor in my 89 gave up at 163k and change. It was not well maintained though. It had way too much oil in it when I gave it its first oil change and the oil was thin, probably from additives trying to quiet down the knock.
Well, my truck is sitting with no engine, transmission, transfer case, or most of the engine wiring right now. It didn't happen on the road though, so that's a plus.
Neat early XJ with 47k on it, according to the ad. It’s not cheap, but I don’t know if I’d call it overpriced. And it’s a 4 banger with an auto. Hey @eaglescout526, check out the interior. Perfection in my opinion.

Cool color, tilt column, power windows, power locks, and cruise.

5 speed with power seat and power windows, and a spare tire carrier. Seems like a fair price too.

Thank you! It better for the amount of money I have sunk into it. LOL
The plan is gloss black for the engine bay to make the engine pop more. Plus, I think the blues would clash if I did it body color.
