Can’t complain about that! I’ve got a funny alternator story about my Comanche. Last summer, right as we were finishing my truck and I got my driving permit. I was driving it around and realized that the alternator crapped the bed. Fine, I called the local parts stores, none of them could get it until Saturday morning, but I had to be at a car show by 10:00 Saturday morning. So, I was at the parts store when it opened to get my alternator in for he car show.

We were getting my brothers orange J10 and wild we waited for mom and dad to come with the trailer. We saw these people trying to move an older piece of farm equipment (don’t remember what), so we jumped in to help as they were older. Moving it I tweaked my back just a little. A week later, when I was almost back to 100% I sneezed and was screwed up again.

This is what I’m leaning towards, although a camper has more room and I wouldn’t need to strip the back of the bed every time I want to use it as a truck. I should just buy a second one to camp in. Now you’re thinking. Big brain right here.

True story, I’m allergic to the cold. If I go outside and it is sub 50 and raining or sub 40 and dry, I will break out and I itch really bad once I warm up. It looks like a bunch of mosquito bites on my face, legs, arms, and hands. Back to the game.

What you were saying makes sense, plus, when you get the MJ up to the house, you will have 2 vehicles to drive so you don't need to worry about being perfect mechanically (although it is nice).

Its a 4 speed auto and a 5 speed manual, according to the website. LOL Good thing that we have people to help with build sheets.

Hmmm, I feel like I should buy a small camper to tow behind my MJ on the way to this show. Or maybe I should find a topper and sleep in it.

Engine bay is painted. I forgot to take pictures though. So, pictures will be coming this afternoon/evening.

When you get your MJ, take the interior out and pressure wash the outside and engine bay of your Jeep. Also, be sure to check over all of the old wiring for spots where mice have chewed wires, any melted connectors, or stuff just not plugged in. And check over your vacuum lines.
