  1. It looks like I'm going to need to order a clutch master cylinder, but other than that, all of my parts that I need should be here today. Most of the wiring is complete, I just need to reinstall the header panel, radiator, fans, and other misc things.
  2. I have found a large frame Bolens that I really want, and I hope to be able to go pick it up this weekend. If I do end up getting it, the less nice 1556 will get listed for sale. The large frame looks virtually identical to these, but it is a larger tractor and has 20 horsepower instead of 15. I have attached two pictures, neither of which are mine. The first is of an HT20 and the second is comparing the size of an HT20 to a 1556. It is a little difficult to tell, but the large frame is a pretty big tractor. My 1556 is actually larger than my parents 2011 Cub Cadet LTX1050.
  3. Its also possible that someone put Sportruck stripes on it even though it isn't a Sportruck.
  4. Looks like you were able to make an account to me. If you click on Krusty's name, it will bring you to his profile, where you will be able to send him a message.
  5. If this issue hasn't been fixed, I think I might have an idea. Are the people that are having the image issues using Tapatalk on their phones? I just use the basic internet browser on mine and have not had an issue.
  6. Let’s see some pictures and the details on your truck!
  7. Gotcha. Thanks guys!
  8. This was the MC that came out of my 97 XJ that the trans came out of. The issue is not only the studs, but the holes do not line up on the firewall for the MC.

    Finished school.

Congratulations! I’m about a year and a half until I’m done with High School.
  10. Thanks!
  11. Thanks for the reply. I believe mine to be an OEM one with two studs built into it. My firewall on my truck has a stud on it though. Do I cut the stud off of the firewall?
  12. Thank you!
  13. I looked through the DIY section and didn’t see anything on this first question. 1. The BA10/5 has a stud that holds on the clutch master cylinder. The AX-15 MC does not. How has everyone gone about mounting the AX-15 MC in a BA10/5 truck? 2. What is the correct fluid for an AX-15? I know there was some engine oil that worked, but I don’t remember what or how much.
  14. Thanks. I might need to contact the guy.
  15. Yeah, that truck is a turd. “Never offroaded” either. This one was bad too, but not as bad as the other. This is what I am leaning towards one I replace the choke cables on both of the tractors and finish up the blue truck.
  16. Amen to that. God bless America.
  17. Did the guy say why he backed out of the deal?
  18. Whoa. Thank you. I still will likely try to at least get the VIN for the registry.
  19. I will admit, that is very worrying, but I had mice issues in a previous car and they did cause any rust damage or chew any wires that we found, and that car had an engine swap and I drove that car around the yard, and the lights worked.
  20. Here is a link for every single Comanche for sale on Craigslist Cars and Trucks within 500 miles of me. https://cincinnati.craigslist.org/cto/d/dayton-88-jeep-comanche-rust-free/7240837866.html ^that guy is clearly lying about some of his claims, I think of that truck as about $3,000 tops in WI. https://fortwayne.craigslist.org/cto/d/fort-wayne-jeep-comanche-reliable-rusty/7227164613.html ^Seems decent, but is super rusty, that said this truck does run and drive, but I value a body with a little rust more than a perfect drive train. https://kalamazoo.craigslist.org/cto/d/portage-1988-jeep-comanche-mj/7241234823.html ^ this truck needs to be painted again, is 2wd, and it probably is not rust free. When you compare it to these trucks, I think that the truck would be a fair deal at $2,000, if it is not rusty. That's a big IF. Let me ask another question, is it worth getting more pictures and details about the truck?
  21. Reading this, I think we do have very similar standards. According to the ad, the guy does say that all of the lights work, but that's only checking one item off of your list. With this list in mind, I will agree that the truck I posted is not a $3,000 truck. I do think it might be closer to a $2,000 truck as is if it is not driveable, which it is not, and it checks the rest of the boxes on your list. Like I said before, if the truck has excessive rust or is 2wd, I would not want it even at $1,000.
  22. Thanks, I am not sure either, unless he looked at the rear end and leaf springs. I have been using your truck as a guide, as you bought your truck recently, so it should reflect the current prices of these trucks. I am thinking, if this truck has a good interior, $2,000 might be an OK buy for it, not great, but not awful either. That said, I have my doubts that the interior is much good in it because of the mice. But I also had an AMC Eagle with an almost perfect interior that had mice to so .
