  1. Seems like you have it thought out well. I’m running the Mishimoto in my MJ, no regrets here!
  2. 10/10 would recommend doing an open loop conversion. It is ridiculously easy. If you use a Renix 2.5 overflow tank, it looks factory too.
  3. Got the transmission back. Hopefully I can get it installed after work today and have it on the road tomorrow.
  4. This one must have been about August 2018 or maybe spring 2019. Behind our shop is my MJ before paint (white blob), my 97 XJ (red blob), my Dad’s plow truck (white and maroon blob next to shop), and my Dad’s YJ right near the garage.
  5. Any chance we can get it scanned so the wiring is clearer? That is awesome!
  6. Always have a water bottle next to you and take a drink every couple of minutes. It will help keep you alert.
  7. IIRC, it can go in both right side up and upside down. It shouldn’t be too difficult to fix, but you will have to pull the cluster again.
  8. Very cool couple of projects! My Comanche was my first truck at the age of 14 and my AMC Eagle was my first car at 12.
  9. Still waiting on the transmission. It took a couple of weeks to get the second core. I did install a new flex plate since some of the teeth were chewed up and a new steering stabilizer that isn’t leaking.

    Front Fender Flares

I’d definitely be interested, I just hope I can afford them!
  11. Doesn’t looks like a factory MJ piece.
  12. I put a new water pump, radiator hoses, and coolant pressure tank in my 89 4.0 and it still overheated. The radiator was not allowing enough flow. It is probably corroded inside and flow is restricted.
  13. What condition are the front flares in?

CC is Awesome! Why? - I have been on online forums pretty much since they came into existence but I've never been on one that provided so much information, help and enthusiasm. You can tell that the people in the CC really love these trucks and are generally good folks just wanting to keep the MJ dream alive. This place is awesome and I'm very thankful for all the help I've been given and all the help that I can give out in the future! I really, really like this truck. Congrats @jeepmjga!

  17. Here’s a recovery trip: bring friends.
  18. I think for 90% or more of drivers, the radar cruise is probably a good thing. That other percentage is out working on and driving 30+ year old trucks. My point: of course most of us won’t like it, that’s why we stick with our old school tech. I will follow that up with a conversation we had the other day in school. One girl admitted that she has a hard time driving cars without adaptive cruise control and lane keep assist. That makes me a tad worried about my generation.
  19. I'm curious as to how the Renix will handle the stroker too. I might just build one when I am done with college.
  20. Based on the throttle cable, that is most definitely an HO TB.
  21. Hey, I’m an Eagle owner too! I have a build thread in the same spot Pete is talking about.

    Rear Window Trim

That is probably what we are going to do. I’m not going to do it until spring, but I just want to have everything ready for when that time comes.

    Rear Window Trim

That’s what I thought too, but I’m pretty sure I installed the solid rear window one because the slider one was trashed. I never knew there was a difference.
