  1. Yup. Finally going for it!
  2. My truck Little Red. Yup.
  3. No problem. Sorry it took me a bit to get back to you. Been prepping LR all damn day.
  4. No 9 is as follows: They supersede to these numbers: 52003947(without AC) and 52003946(With AC) No. 24
  5. Oh yeah. It sure as hell is gonna happen. Oh @88mjsally after getting those vents they went right to painting and I used my can of landau black interior paint(10 coats later) to achieve this: Old vents that came off and new that I bought and restored. Almost looks like NOS. Even put the foam on the back.
  6. Do you want part numbers to reference?
  7. I think the old Chrysler saying goes "There's power in Mopar"
  8. Who knows. Like I said we have found that Chrysler has been recycling codes ever since they acquired Jeep. We compared another members build sheet and found some codes to be the same but different descriptions for the code.

I made this disclaimer before. But its due to Chrysler reusing codes and such. Prior to 1989 like yours is a hit or miss on data. 1988 and down when AMC was still around weren't filed away properly so some data is still lost. Build date: 10/16/88 Body code JL62
  10. Yes, that is for the High altitude CPS. Let me pull up starparts and compare if you don't mind?
  11. Whoa. How did you get your build sheet?
  12. That’s a good idea. I’ll try it when I get my passenger door handle off.
  13. If it doesn't have a T-stat being from Nevada, there could be more to your hidden cooling issues.
  14. Interesting fact about his truck. It has a 94 drive train but no apparent modification to the firewall. Almost like the PO knew exactly what to do. But failed to add a fuel filter. It is a clean install by 86 swap standards. (Pete there’s a hidden one here. Don’t know how to undo that.)
  15. Holy cannoli! Congrats!
  16. Before I take off my door handles for a refresh on color, has anyone found a source for the gaskets or do you have to hope they won’t crumble in your hands?
  17. They generally were a special order unless the factory had some made. It’s weird we don’t see many auto XJs from 84-86. Probably because it was a three speed Chrysler. But probably not a lot were made. Just like the AW4 2.5L combo.
  18. The only redeemable feature to the modernization of War of the Worlds
  19. Fantastic. Lots of interest. I will do my best with my busy time to contact the local company here to reproduce them for us.
  20. I don't know how or why but the garnet interior with the black bezel and black face on the cluster looks really damn good. Just some maroon or black carpet and it will look better.
  21. What I’m curious about is why did yours come in a 90’s MoPar box and mine are in performance boxes? Anyways I will do some digging in my spare time to reproduce these. I wouldn’t expect to see reproductions for a while. Big plan with Little Red to happen.
  22. If I could I’d have that interior. But red on red is a little too much commie for my liking.
  23. I’ll keep y’all in the loop for those who are interested. The boxes are fricken awesome!!!
