  1. Damn black interior too. Id snag the rear bumper.
  2. That's it, No.12 55005259.
  3. No, the plug the OP is asking about would be in the body plugs section of the catalog. I’ve never seen #18 before in person.
  4. Thats a fair and good point!
  5. Lol, I wish him good luck then.
  6. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Jeep-Comanche-NOS-Long-Bedside-Drivers/333594882005?hash=item4dabcdefd5:g:VioAAOSwdCVetwux Yeaaaaaahhhhh…..
  7. If the owner hasn't ever done Cruisers Renix tune up tips, then chances are it probably could have some electrical issues. But common issues all across the board regardless of Renix engine is grounds.
  8. Lol fair. Maybe I should get one of those D44a's and take one apart for the learning experience.
  9. That kind of day huh? Well I have an 87 elec diagram we can consult and trace the circuit. Chances are the FP wire will go through C100 which is the bulk head connector for the front end.
  10. This makes me really really want to clean up and do my rear diff but gearing is not my forte and don't want to risk it. But looks damn good to make me jealous!
  11. Should be getting 12V out to the pump. You could always take it out and test it. Does your 87 have the C101? Want to do some FP circuit testing?
  12. Wonder if he still has it. Guy hasn't been on in like four years.
  13. I mean most of our trucks are time capsules considering the onslaught of cash for clunkers and rust, but not as pristine and original as this. But to answer your question I would weekend drive that beaut. No sense in owning an automobile if you're just gonna show it off.
  14. White lithium grease will work. I would just spray it on the big throttle spring where the throttle plate is.
  15. LOL! That's TWO improper ways to use that plug. Oh lord. Whats funny is if his truck would've kept running while off, that plug would've been my theory.
  16. Sounds like the TB needs a bit of lubing. But glad its all normal.
  17. How low is your idle? Mine sits between 900-1000 warm and AC on. So it probably would be best to have the AC off with the adjustment now that I think about it if both of your guy's trucks are equipped.
  18. I have had good results using 50/50 of vinegar and water in a radiator to help clean out all the deposits and such. The factory radiator in mine is one I used the mixture on and the engine stays at 210*.
  19. Yeah I think that is the absolute earliest I came across. Any others were august builds.
  20. So to connect the tach, do you know the diagnostic ports on the pass fender? Covered by yellow covers? connect the tach wires to D1_(positive)1 and D1_3(negative). Once the tach is correctly wired in and reading the RPM, the truck will need to be at operating temp for best results. Once at temp stop the engine. Unplug the ISA as it should be fully extended after engine shut down. You will need some ear muffs for this as the engine screams. Watching your tach you will adjust the bolt on the ISA by the throttle plate. If I remember correctly, counter clock wise raises the idle and clock wise lowers it. Once at 3500 rpm + or - 200 you can shut off the engine and plug the ISA back in and then start it again to see if the idle has come down.
  21. MS-1700!
  22. I would do a voltage drop test. You said the battery is good and has 12v. I would test to see if the cable is sending 12V down the line to the starter relay.
  23. My bad. Only the 2.5L’s got them. Since the 2.5L started out carbed they distinguished it by using the FI plate for those two years. 4.0 didn’t since it was released as MPFI.
  24. Yes it was. 86 and 87 models got it and it was discontinued after that.
