  1. Yup! They are Warn tow hooks for those who are hunting down new ones.
  2. It would take so much love to bring that one back. Can I have my tail light harness back?(kidding) lol.
  3. Yeah I know but I only ask because I see there’s some CJ stuff still floating at some dealers. I only looked the decal pieces and found some but not everything. Also found a couple waggy parts floating around too.
  4. Sooooo should I start hunting down CJ and SJ stuff?
  5. That didn’t last long. Yet it took me a few months to sell an 81-83 4.2L NOS AC bracket kit.
  6. You could just make some build threads for all the MJs you own and just drop your videos there. That way you don’t have to make new posts in the pub or anything like that.
  7. Where does gauge point to when the engine is running/driving?
  8. What Pete said and I would check out the shape of that indicator, looks like the return spring for it could’ve broke. And that’s the idiot light cluster.
  9. This is the right spot. Do you have the idiot light cluster or a 3/4 cluster? It is recommended to do the ground fixes if they haven’t been performed. As for the gauge itself you can pull he cluster out and unscrew the gauge from the cluster and take a look at the wire windings on the back to see if there’s anything broken. I had a gas gauge do that to me. As for the PRNDL, there’s a clip that comes out of the bottom of the cluster that clips to something on the column that controls the indicator.
  10. Id love to have the set for Chunk. Think I could trade them my crap Chrysler set for those? Lol.
  11. Probably lol. Thats an insane amount for a full set of XJ flaps but they are also AMC ones so I guess its a decent asking price.
  12. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Jeep-Cherokee-Wagoneer-NOS-Model-70-Mud-Guards-Heavy-Rubber-OEM/124529804427?hash=item1cfe8e048b:g:CUYAAOSw3CpgAfsm Anyone want to pool some money together?
  13. If I had to choose between my topper and the tonneau I would choose the tonneau any day. It’s nice, it snaps into the rails that are clamped down to the bed and an added bonus, if you have the bed mat, it can make for a comfy little hideaway to get some shut eye.
  14. I’m sure there’s probably a few junk watches that could work for potential board swaps.
  15. I do indeed. Well did I have a topper now that I am in a love hate relationship with. But I enjoy it and can say it’s well made and worth your money. Looks like it would be an approved factory accessory too. But I would buy a Downey one again.
  16. Neat! I figured it was 86 as it looked different than what I have normally seen and the only PN on it is on the wiring harness as a tag and it says 23.5gal on it. Thats good info to know. Hopefully I will find out the difference and be able to sell the three units as I don't want to hoard them when someone can use them.
  17. When I get to my 23 gallon tank swap, I’ll look at my 16 gallon unit and compare the three to that one. I have an NOS 23 gallon unit that is probably from 86 as it holds a fuel pump but the pipes point straight out. I’ll figure it out soon.
  18. Ive never had any good luck with getting the wheel on tightly. Way back if you remember my thread about the steering wheel nut sizes, my threads were jacked up on the column and so the nut never went on tightly and I thought that because the nut and threads were messed up were causing that issue. So I got a tap and dye set to rethread the threads on the column to an actual Jeep steering wheel nut and it went on tightly and the steering wheel is on there but it still can be removed by hand with some force. As long as the nut holds the steering wheel in place and doesn’t wobble it around like it did with the old nut, I say it’s good.
  19. My hands. Never had to use a puller since my wheel comes off easily but not easily to where I need a puller.
  20. In what depths of CC hell did you have to dive to find this antique thread?
  21. My experience that I have had and I’ve only done it once is that I called a junkyard about a rear bumper they had and they said they would get pics of it before the pulled it. Took I want to say about a week for them to do that. Called them back about it and they said(like me when I forget to do swim thing at work) is they got a little backed up and behind, fine no big deal. They sent me the pics, thought I was nuts to want the rusted bumper(only the support bar) told them yes. Gave them my info and next day they called and said they shipped it. So it’s a matter of waiting really. Who knows maybe taking some pics of a grill is low priority at the moment for them.
  22. Ground was replaced after its melt down, surface was cleaned before installed. Power is alright, its cleaned up.
  23. Haaaaaaate to say it but the end caps are missing its stupid special retaining pins.
