Correct, dealer name, city and state will be added like how I have done for a few VINs already.

I'm supposed to be doing a VIN dig any ways by doing an incremental digit of the last 8 of each VIN until the end of that years production. I got to 300 and something VINs and stopped as that taxed my attention and cognitive functions while doing it lol. But yeah, were crazy addicts and at this point we can't leave no stone unturned.

Its probably a few more seconds consuming than adding the build sheet. We will still do the 86's as some could still very well have info pop up. I can say that I tried to pull dealer info for Chunk and there was nothing.

I would like to add as I mentioned in my first post, 86’s have been giving problems with this info. So if you own an 86, the dealer info may or may not be available. Not much we can do about it.

I think it’s buried in the tech and occasionally gets resurfaced.

I have a few parts displayed in my room like a speedometer, nameplates, couple parts boxes and a tach.

I would like to say that 86’s are gonna be an issue. I’ve had a couple that pop up with VIN not found or they turn into Dodge Journeys with the last 8. Just want to throw that out there if you have an 86.

No problem! Given that it’s an 88 truck, there was only one color in the tan department and it is tan. After 88 it is known as sand. I have a whole thread on interior colors and SEM paints compatible to restore your interior color. Also a common issue we run into with build sheets can be the lack of paint color. In the bottom left hand corner of the firewall VIN plate will be a two or three digit code. That will be your paint code.

Yup! Motor regrease was done sometime after the bushing replacement, still no dice. Did the ground upgrade shortly after the greasing the motor and was still no improvement.

Shoot me a PM and I can get you the info. I’ve moved off my computer for the night, but I assure you I’ll be able to get you a dealer in the morn.
