That and the fact right now she is my DD, and I have 3 Jeep projects I'm already working on.

AAL's are going to be a problem. I have a metric tonne. So I have the thicker wider springs. Tim(Bent) and I were talking about this last week. He is finding the same thing. So I may have to get some Ford leaves, and homogenize something. Plus, you don't know a 'stiff' ride until you are driving an empty metric tonne down buckled roads, with a half-sprung bench seat.

I'm looking for 2" lift options. I only want a bit of lift just to give Spot a little attitude. I've found Rough Country(which I want to avoid due to really bad ride) SkyJacker Rocky Road(which is a 1", and I have had quality issues with RR in the past) Black Diamond Any I'm forgetting here??

Check at TSC for seat covers, I got mine at Farm and Fleet. Its farm truck-sexy. www.4wd.com www.4wheelparts.com www.rockauto.com

I'll bet this is the same turd, that posted exactly the same post on NAGCA. Pete/Eagle, drop the bannination hammer before this gets out of hand.

Unless, its some sort of goofy Canadian bastard child build. Its not an 86 4.0 AW-4. The 4.0l and AW-4 both debuted in 1987. 86 should be 2.8l V-stink, with the Chrysler 999

Huh? I haven't seen even one. Must be the mods are getting them. That or I am in my normally clueless state.

If noone answers you, I have the 231 FSM. But I'm currently travelling and its at home.

Chicago could possibly extend from Gary all the way out to 47. When I'm home I live 90 miles west. But BOB lives about 40 miles west.

I'm only wanting it to do a couple of driveways, and the small resturant parking lot next to my house. So it isn't like I'm doing a commercial thing. I used to plow with a B-II, it worked very well. But Ford's factory installed rust finally did it in. Like Wildman posted. Being smaller and nimble makes it alot eaiser to get around than fullsize trucks. Never under estimate a Jeep. I have a friend who uses my old 85 XJ as a utilty tractor on his hobby farm now. He loves it. No more having to wear a hooded sweatshirt when spreading manure. BTW, there was another 6.5ft plow equipped XJ on the Bay at the same time. But it was out NY way.

Someone here needs this one. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... 0021761230 P.S., I want the plow set-up, but I can't bring any more trucks home. I may have actually found a buyer for my driveway art.

Get a helper. The TNT system is great, but a MAJOR pain in the Arse to put on. Also read the instructions all the way through. There is a couple of steps that have to be done out of the order listed, because they need to be done first.

Hmm, sounds like another Pugeot, ready to be Puge-out.
-
Yeah, I want the entire thing. Can you just fold it up and mail it?? Between that, and the posts of the Diesel MJ on the Bay, I'm real glad I'm real broke. I can almost smell the fryer oil powered wheeling.

We have a couple of those 'real Jeeps have round headlights' morons in my local Jeep club. I always mention the Compass, Patriot, and Liberty whenever they start that crap. Actually, around here the Compass doesn't have that bad of a reputation. Could be the 2200 workers making them here, and the fact they are adding another 900 workers on 3rd shift.

BigBox Outdoor Retail Store Called Today about MGMT Position
whowey replied to 89MJComanche's topic in The Pub
I have worked for small businesses, and super large corporations both. Personally, I prefer small businesses, usually your skills are rewarded. But they don't have the financial resources needed to be competitive with large companies. My answer would depend on your personal life more than a career choice. I have a family to look after, so for ME I would choose the job that better suited their needs. If I was a single-guy I would flat out choose the one that I wanted more. -
Holy Crap..... Rick, your the second 'oldie' to leave us in the last few weeks. You can't resist them. You will see them everywhere now. You always have a place at my campfire, brother.

Right there is why the city zoning officer NEVER issues me violation, even though I have had an unlicensed vehicle in my drive the entire 5 years I have lived here. He came by threatening me once, I listed 6 off the top of my head(including his son). That I would mention infront of the code enforcement board if he issued a citation. I also told him I would present pictures and a list of every single violation in town if he pressed the matter. So I basically get 'one' free violation. But here even in the county they have code enforcement. Unmounted tires is the BIGGIE here. That and rabies shots. They claim its mosquitos is why. I have a feeling though, its the old county owned dump that catches fire once a year.

My BIL and SIL used to live on Luke AFB. And I didn't know anything about the 'no repair work' crap in base housing. We were visiting, and I got up an was out changing the oil their van, for letting us stay with them for a week. The base security pulls up, and tells me 'You aren't allowed to do that when you live in base housing' I told him 'I don't live in base housing, but my taxes paid for it, and your salary so have a nice day' he wasn't sure what to say and left. About a week later, he stopped by and hassled my BIL about it, when he was washing his lawnmower in the yard.

The local PD or code enforcement people don't complain to you guys???? After West Nile was found in Chi-town they have been REALLY serious about tires laying about. I got a 'notice' for two tires stood up beside my garage. The stacks I have now are covered by old service station tires covers.
-
Woo-Hoo!!!!! Guys with more crap than me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My tires are stacked in my drive, and garage. 2 in the garage(Odd sizes) 4 - 33 x 12.5 x 15 Firestone MT for the XJ project 1 - 32 x 11.5 x 15 BFG AT spare for the XJ 2 - 235/75/15 Bridgestone Revos off my old XJ(other two on MJ) 1 - 235/75/15 Wally World AT (other 3 on XJ project) 2 - 235/75/15 Goodyear Workhorse(other 2 on MJ)(possibly the worst tire ever, if you don't count Goodyear Wrangler AT)

Opinions/advice needed on my 4x4 conversion
whowey replied to clarkerussell's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Does that include the bad Viscous Coupler 'conversion kit'? -
I was jumping on the end of a breaker bar, at the JY trying to break loose, or break off wheel studs. So my buddy could get some wheels. The pin broke on the breaker bar, and I went face first into the corner of the bumper on a Ford Bronco. I ended up with 19 stitches right on the edge of my hairline. Good times.

I took a Snap-on Torx bit, and sawed off the end. The Snap-on sockets have the Torx pattern all the way to the chrome part. My Craftsman sockets on have it half way down.
