  2. if the information to help find additional information about strokers http://www.jeep4.0performance.4mg.com/stroker.html :brows: as for my stroker i purchased mine from Accurate Power when they were doing some business and stopped some time in 05 for reasons unknown, for the I6 jeep then there is additional info from hesco/clifford web sites and now a few others like Golen. If there was/is power from this engine i think we would all like to know :???: I have found that this site and the folks here have help each other out a lot. rockhardzj wrote goes back to the earlier question i had was this engine been balanced & blue printed :hmm: and only the paper work can determine that by the way the business should have that kind of information as well.   3. i have to get the OEM for my 89 cherokee which is the only one that works :hmm: the after market ones did not do well. it took me a while to figure this one out :dunno: but my mj has no problem with the aftermarket ones it is some times a crap shoot when getting them. i always test them by boiling hot water on the stove. what's the temp rating on the last one you have purchased and where did you get it from

  5. you can do the poor man stroker 4.5l there are few articles out there :brows: for you to get the exhuasted engine running strong again and you can do it at your leasure just do a quik search and you'll get a few hits just another option

Bubba wrote which ever choice u choose please keep us in formed. lot of us folks have the ford and some have d44 its all boils down to how well have ya maintain these last of the breed and i have to say that you have done a g8 job with yours . I know that its a preference between the rear ends of choice and i have not made my mind up yet and was leaning in the direction of the dakota axles with the jeep logos would be different and cool just have not heard good or bad on these as of yet so on with the research :rant:

  11. what about the radiator is this a stock or a aftermarket replacement i have had great success with a three core unit and it is barely over the 220 range in the mid of summer and the engine has been stroked too. :brows: maybe its time for a replacement :dunno:

  13. why not gett it stroked or buy a stroked engine to suit your needs and then get it geared so you can enjoy it. If not then look at hesco or golen and see what they can offer you as far as performance. hope you have deep pockets or time :brows:

  17. here is my wife's idea for her 89 nice 3in lift kit ;) stock engine :oops: and change the paint scheme to hot camo pink metallic :cry: And i told her that there is no way in on this planet that i would drive it and she stated that was the idea.

  20. just another question i thought that there was a write up on swapping the booster rod between model years so that was a plug & play swap Any thoughts on this :dunno:

  22. I've zipped tied these connections in the past with good results. the down side is when change trannies or clutches and in my case went from puke joe to ax-15 internal slave to external slave and have and internal YJ in the garage in vgood condition.
  23. is the overhead console out of an xj or zj and are the lights in the over head operational nice jeep

  25. what ever became of the swap of the 4.7(v8 ) into a MJ would like to know if there has any progress been made of that effort. also would like to know if a early v8 like the 283sbc or the 289f would work. Any thoughts on this :???:
