  1. u can sell it or swap the 2.8 for 3.1 or 3.4 out of one of the other gm products if you intend to get another one
  2. CW is that the current configuration that your MJ shock mounts are in & what type of rear end axle is on your mistress :brows: that is what my wife states if i"m talking with my girl friend :jump:

  5. didnt the dakota's come with disc brake's all the way around. :hmm: I'm suspecting that they did but could be wrong also. And at lease there are a bunch out there to choose from Between chrysler & ford.

  7. well the pic's look good :brows: and that will be a very nice machine once it is restored and worth the effort one will put into. now to find some additional pic's on the web of a fully restored one... BTW you may have to ask him for her hand.
  8. All right have any of you folks split the clutch pedal at the pivot point. What was correction taken to prevent future occurrences? :dunno: quick fix is to get another one and mig weld the crack/split :brows: any thoughts would be appreciated. 89MJ with 94 AX-15 setup

  15. the only pic that is out there is the one that dakal has for the ax-15 i have got rid of the puke joe mount if you do a search for ax-15 he does have a pic that may help ya good luck. btw his post was around the begining of the month.

  18. all i can say is that my 89 mj stock was a ba10 puke joe and the mount was not the same as the AX-15 i have been doing a quick look in the garage and only found the auto once i find them unless trashed which i hoping i didn’t... i'll send pic's of the difference and the spline count is definite difference between the two. i was just as :mad: when i was in your shoes. how much is it going to cost for the rebuild.
  19. just another note the t-case won't match up i belive that the spline count on the puke goat(21??) :dunno: is different than that of the AX-15 (23) hope you have a spare t-case laying around. good luck
  20. you will need th puke goat mount so that it will line up. if you need one i may have one available for ya. if not in a hurry i can check the garage and see if i didnt throw it out. I swap to an AX-15 my self. Ill let u know soon

  23. this appears to be the same problem i have had in the past with my 89 MJ and once i replace the egr valve this problem went away. you may want to look into this and see if yours is in need of replacement. hope this helps
  24. i believe that there is a write up at this site www.lunghd.com which for rebuilding the neutral switch, also it may need an adjustment. That is what i did for a quick fix when mine was acting up in my 96. you may want to checck the retainer and see if it's loose too. :cheers:
