  1. how old is the EGR valve this can contribute to poor performance :brows: would not like for you to go on a witch hunt and start replacing parts you don't need yet.
  2. Has anyone experience a bad antenna or have one gone bad? :hmm: I have come to this conclusion since swapping out the radio and try them in the other jeeps and the radio works fine. If anyone has experienced this what was the culprit. :dunno: I have not had the time to investigate any further at the moment.

    your first car

My 1st, 2nd & 3rd where the mercury capri's 73, 2.0 and two 74 with 2.8 they were great & fun to drive's :brows: which i would love to have another 74 w/v6 and the spare time to restore it. if i can find some old photo's I'll have to scan them in BTW some nice looking machine's in this thread
  4. here is a thought didn't the early "i snooze u" p'up trucks have the correct dementions as our MJ :dunno:
  5. pingpong wrote got pic would like to see the setup u have there :brows: would like to do the same maybe in the 89 xj we have at the moment.
  6. well done and welcome to the club you want one for your self :brows:
  7. better late than never enjoy the turkey this evening & football games but best of enjoy the jeeps take care and be safe
  8. the question would be if the MJ can be move or do they got over a barrel cause the could charge you for a stowage fee until it is moved. you can state that this was not like this when i have brought it here and inform them you are registering a complaint to the BBB. again its your word vs the shop where your Jeep is at
  9. the storage space would be nice for a small CB radio if it would fit
  10. BTW Eagle Wrote from the 8.25...8.8 post just another question what was on the 87 Dakota rear i should have taken a pic while i was at the bone yard to see if this would be a good swap it appears to be 5 lug bolt pattern. next tm i'll get the pic
  11. you may want to do a search and see :hmm: what some of the team members here are toying with http://www.comancheclub.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=4144&highlight=compass just a thought
  12. i have a wrangler ax-15 internal slave and the back housing to change it to fit a commanche. it have not sold it yet. should you be interested. you can send me an pm.
  13. is that a conquest is see in the picture with the nice score you have
  14. would the EGR cause this same type symptom. and would this be an item to check just a thought
  15. drop the r/t 5.9 into from a GC or Dakota if you want performance or the GMC 4.3l 24v cyclone :brows:
  16. based on what you intend to do with it and how well this MJ has been taken care of. The find out what you want this thing to be. If you have a v6 in it soem say get rid of it or swap a 3.4l firebird/camaro engine. some have swap a 4.0l with some mods to the engine bay area. I have not heard of 3.4l 24v in one of these things yet but still waiting. options for the rear end d44, cryslr 8.25, ford 8.8 most would say set the 8.8 ford since they can be had very easy. any other questions you have you can ask the team here and they will be sure to help :brows: welcome home
  17. one would suspect that the cause of low oil pressure would be that fact that the seals are bad and you should see the results of this :hmm: and may be a spun bearing. other than these that have been mentioned i have not seen any others to date are there any others
  18. glad that work for ya if that was not the issue i would recommend you rebuilt the neutral safety switch here is an article on this site http://www.lunghd.com/On_Site_Tech.htm and its a g8 :brows: write up as well
  19. i 2 have come to dislike the internal slave setup they have been such a that is why i went to the external setup and have a relative new reman of an internal in the garage. after the second slave popping off in two months :headpop: and this could have been me :dunno: i made the switch and had no problem since
  20. girsm86 where did you get those decal's from Pete :dunno: i do like the 4.0l inside sticker just wondering if they had a 4.6l or are they special order of one's choice btw ur truck is looking goood mainge . If there is a link please provide thanks (mainge latino for man)
  21. Eagle wrote do you know if these are clipped and how much effort is to keep these in the SUA vice SOA just a personal pref. for me :hmm:
  22. what year did the 8.25 rear come from and r u SOA or SUA nice jeep
  23. to bad u where not on the east coast i would be willing to make a deal like an internal slave ax-15 :brows:
  24. I would agree with Pete as for replacing the pilot bushing. I did the swap from ba10/5 to ax-15 internal slave to ax-15 external slave cylinder and notice that there is a difference between pilot bushings I’ve got lucky between ba10/5 and the internal ax-15 after that there is a difference in pilot bushings from external ax-15 and internal ax-15 slave cylinders. its a pain to get them out :brows: but its worth the assurance that you got the right stuff. I do believe that NAPA has the part and also believe that it would be the same PB as the one for the ax-15 94+ but its always good to double check
  25. how many ponies will this thing have and are considering stiffing and strengthing ares that may require it :hmm: if it is necessary. I have heard of the v10 in the TJ from the viper. And some one here is dropping a GC 4.7l don't know how much progress has been made.
